Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this nut on a Takamine guitar?

The chances are good. The measurements are as follows: Dimensions of thickness: 3/16" (5. 11 mm); Length: 23/32" (43.25 cm) (Height: 43 mm) 9/32" (11/32"). 02 mm); From the first to the last string: 3/8"(35. Measure the nut on your guitar right now (it should be 28 mm). The exact dimensions of your Takamine nut can be found on the Takamine website, and it fits on my Yamaha APX Acoustic guitar and Ibanez Artcore electric guitar. For a snug fit, some light sanding is required. It is very simple to set up. Best of luck!

Is this compatible with the Yamaha FG 402?

The best way to measure this or any guitar is to use a digital caliper such as this: http://www.br>br>https://www.br>br>https://www.br>br //www. amazon. com/Digital-Advertising Caliper- Adoric- Calipers- mp_s_a_1_5/dp/B07DFFYCXS/ref=mp_s_a_1_5/measuring/dp/B07DFFYCXS/ref=mp_s_a_1_5? UTF8 ie=UTF8 ie=UTF8 ie= qid=1548028129br>br>(I got mine from harbor freight if you have one near you) br>br>Then go to graphtech's website and look up the measurements for each nut. Then choose the one that is most similar to your measurements. Keep in mind that there is usually some variation (1-%). 2mm) to the part you have and the part they have. When it comes to nuts and saddles, bigger is better because you can always sand a little off but not replace the material.

Fast delivery Factory flaw/defect
3/5

Arrived today in a well-sealed plastic pouch. br>Tusq products are deserving of a five-star rating. And, in fact, $250 should be a standard on all guitars. From 00 onwards Rather than poor sound dampening - Tone-deafening, low-cost plastic. This tusk PO- is guaranteed to crack or chip. br>br> 1728- 00 had a chip in the small "e" slot when he arrived. While in the factory packaging, it is impossible to tell. So TUSQ. Has shoddy quality control, allowing this acoustic nut to leave the factory with a prominent flaw.

The tonal difference is incredible! My Yamaha LL11 acoustic guitar's original nut split during restringing, so I had to replace it
5/5

I can't believe how much of a difference it made in tone and endurance! The "lows" remain deep, but the "highs" are crisper and cleaner. Despite the fact that I had never done it before, installation went smoothly. Just make sure you do your homework when it comes to proper sizing. This nut was a perfect fit for my guitar and didn't require any modifications.

The yamaha fg720s is the perfect match
5/5

I was hesitant to change a guitar nut myself, but I'm glad I did because it saved me a lot of money. There is no need for glue because the friction fit perfectly into the slot, but a small drop is recommended anyway. There's no need to sand the height or width. It's a huge step up from the stock plastic nut. The only problem was a small burr on the flat face, which I quickly shaved away with a razor. This is an item that I strongly recommend. Used on a Yamaha fg720s with a 12-volt battery. Strings with a gauge of 53 and an octave of 80 are.

Simple to set up, and it has a pleasant glow to it
5/5

I thought this was a fantastic product; the nut was simple to install and only slightly too large, which is exactly what you want because you can lightly sand it to fit your guitar. The nut is made of a man-made ivory known as tusq, so sanding was simple. It's not a particularly tough material, but it did give my guitar a slightly brighter sound overall, though not excessively so. My old nut was made of plastic, and it quickly turned yellow, so I replaced it. I bought one for each of my other two guitars after discovering how simple it was to remove the old nut and replace it with the new one.

Tusq Acoustic Nut by Graphtech
5/5

I am a huge fan of Graphtech's products. No, I'm not employed by them, and I'm not being compensated to endorse them. They create high-quality, functional products. br>I installed this nut, as well as a saddle and bridge pins, on my 35-year-old Yamaha FG150 acoustic guitar, and it revealed a clarity I didn't realize it possessed. They are simple to install, and the most important aspect is to carefully fit them or have a reputable luthier do it for you. br>I'm also going to put a Tusq nut on my dependable Ibanez. br>Take a look at what they have to offer. With the different thicknesses, I noticed significant differences in how my guitar sounded.

This is a fantastic enhancement

This is a fantastic enhancement. If you're not handy, it's not going to be easy. But that is true of all guitar aficionados.

Tusq is a fantastic player
5/5

Tusq is fantastic! I recently replaced the bridge (compensated) and pins with Tusq, which makes the guitar sing. I went to the Tusq website and looked up my guitar, then placed my order. Tusq products are highly recommended.

I've always been a fan of graph technology
5/5

I adore everything I own from Graph Tech. Strat/tele tusq and graphite nuts and saddles, as well as acoustic nut and saddles. I've tried them all, and none of them have disappointed me.
