It's possible that the quality isn't as good as it could be

These were used to replace a broken nut on a bass guitar for a customer. The weight of the G string resting on it caused the first one to break when I installed it. The second one worked perfectly, but after having the first one fail on me, I'm not sure I'll buy any more.

This is the item to use if you want to practice changing a nut

The installation was simple, and the radius was very close, but the bass string grooves were too small. If the grooves don't break during sanding, you'll have to size them first.
