If you have your bassat, you should take the following steps: the width of the neck at the nut and the width of the slot into which the nut is inserted br>If your neck is 42 mm or 1 inch wide, This brass nut will fit into position if the slot width is approximately 6 mm or 1/4". Furthermore, the height of the strings above the frets should be measured. From the bottom to each string slot, this brass nut measures 7 mm (9/32"). The size was exactly as described, and it fit my bass like a glove. Because I had pulled the frets for various reasons, the height was a tad high. I'll double-check once the new frets are installed, but I think it'll be fine. It took a long time for the package to arrive, but that was expected and stated up front.
You might be able to get it to work on a micro bass with some machining. This isn't a drop-in type of situation.
