Will this work on a bass that is played with the left hand?

It's possible, but it'll have to be tweaked. The slots are also angled so that they are accessible to right-handed people.

This bone nut saves you a lot of time and gives you a magical tone. Without the guitar plugged into the amp, you'll notice a difference.

Beware: The middle string slot isn't exactly in the middle

In comparison to the center string slot, the middle string slot is closer to the high strings. It appears to be the same product as the "Generic" counterpart.

I'm going to use it to replace the one on my Epi Les Paul as well. You'll most likely need to Sam's it to your liking; it fits perfectly, but I'd like to lower it a little. As my collection grows, I will buy more.
