Are you sure that the "Standard" script font that appears is the same as the one pictured or is that a As I read the reviews, I am seeing a mixed bag of responses. ?

As shown in the picture, mine is also the same. The majority of Les Paul Standards are the same.

A perfect fit / nice look

Since Gibson switched from blank to printed truss rod covers on Les Paul Standard models, the truss rod covers have changed. While Gibson's use of certain years and models may correspond to a specific pattern, it does not always follow the same path. There are some Gibson owners who prefer the blank cover, which is more in line with the original manufacture of the instrument, and others who prefer the printed cover, which is more in line with modern models. It is worth noting, however, that the covers are interchangeable, and can be changed back to the original version if necessary. In the end, it is a matter of personal choice. No matter which option you choose, the cover is a perfect fit and looks just like it did when it was made.

A piece by Gibson, though with a modern script instead of the vintage style

This is a Gibson piece, but the other reviews are right when they note that it is not the vintage script shown in the previous review. Compared to the older "Standard" font, this one is more modern. As for the rest, it is all Gibson, and it is.
