Product Description

This neckplate is made of black plated steel and is very well made. Most FD Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars and basses Jazz are usually compatible, but please double-check the measurements before buying.

Size of the Neck Plate (L x W): approx. 64 x 51 millimeters / 2. Mounting Hole Distance (L x W):approx. 5" x 2", Mounting Hole Dimensions (L x W):approx. 2" x 1" / 51mm x 38mm 49"

When screwing the neck on, use a mirror-like plate to protect the finish on the guitar body.

The black rubber mat protects the back of your guitar while also providing some give to prevent overtightening of the screws.

2 x Neck Joint plates, 2 x plastic back plates, 8 x mounting screws, make sure to get Fender size screws if you're replacing the neck with a Fender.

Plates for the neck

I've bought these twice and wish they came in packs of four or six. Both times I bought them, they arrived in perfect condition, with gleaming chrome and sturdy screws. If I could make a suggestion for improvement, I would include hardened screws in the package because one of the 16 screws I used broke.

This is a set of low-cost neck plates. Both of mine were scratched when they arrived. The chrome plating is bubbling, and one of the layers is already peeling away. br>br>In addition, the screws are larger in diameter than on a standard "F style" guitar - These types of screws are common on low-cost guitars made in other countries. br>br>As a result, these neck plates are inexpensive. They're also half the price of higher-quality plates, and they include screws, so they're not completely useless.

Low prices imply a risk of low-quality products. The plating on one of the chrome plates was adequate, but it was bubbling and cracking on the other.

One of the two options was a complete waste of time

One of the two had been scratched, rendering it useless. I would have kept the one I was replacing if I had wanted a scratched neck plate. The second one was fine because the face had been flipped into the plastic base when it was shipped.
