Questions & Answers

Do the clip mounts for the pickup elements attach to the bridge come with the guitar?

It does, but the jeans are really tight. They had to be widened a bit because I could not get them on the bridge and the pickups were sliding all over

The Gibson Mastertone banjo I own is a gibson I see no end jack on it, but the jack looks like it's missing. The wires are naked - What do I have to do with this? Do I have to solder it and end jack ?

This product comes with a jack, but it will require some soldering to install. Since I don't have a soldering iron, I decided to get mine professionally installed so I wouldn't have to worry about the installation.

My son wants to know if this is a good pickup. ?

As Amazon offered a warranty, I gave the Fishman pickup to my luthier to install
5/5

When the luthier installed it, the pickup didn't work. The retailer told us to return it to Fishman, so I contacted Amazon and made the return. After I notified them of the non-working one, they sent me a new one immediately, and provided me a shipping label to return the non-working one. I love the sound of the pickup! There is a distinct "banjo" sound that has been told to several listeners while it is played. My husband likes it so much that he bought a second one to replace an old pickup in his It's time to pick up!.

I couldn't get it to This is the third time we've bought We bought a $100 standing bass for my son, who plays in the orchestra and jazz band at his high school
3/5

He tried to install it but it would not work. Our clips are too narrow, so we couldn't widen them, and they will not fit over Under the bridge, there is no way to cover two strings with the part that wraps around the two There will be a return to make.

It is a great option for amplifying a banjo
5/5

Although I have only ever played acoustic instruments, I need to be able to amp up my banjo to perform for an event. An experienced banjo player recommended this Fishman banjo pickup to me after I asked him for his advice. It was my hope to be able to install it myself, but when they say that professional installation is recommended, they don't play around Since I did not have the knowledge and tools to complete it, I hired a local shop to do it. I like the sound of it, anyway.

Be sure you understand what you are While it took a bit of effort and access to Youtube, the result sounds amazing
4/5

I had to grind down the screws on the bridge to lower it enough so the strings would be at the right height from the frets after I removed the adjusting screw knobs. As well as cutting the strings grooves, you need to cut the bridge grooves. I used my old bridge as a template. Furthermore, I had to wrap something around the patch plug in order to keep it from flopping around in the clip that holds it onto.

There should be no excuse for not using The software I used was my own creation
5/5

was forced to use a soldering iron, but it worked perfectly. There have been no feedback issues for me. I use it with a L & R This pre amp can be plugged directly into the PA of an R Baggs preamp.

The sound is of high quality
4/5

There was a requirement for adapting the bracket used to hold plugs. Sound that is of high quality. There was a requirement for adapting the bracket used to hold plugs. It is important to keep in mind that you will need a pre-approved loan This is a component for an amplifier. The one on my PA system is what I use. It is difficult to adjust the It is possible to do this through a Fishman component.
