It was the notched straight edge that convinced me to buy this set. There is a slight deviation from the straight edge. Then I inspected it with my engineering straight edge and found that the right and left edge surfaces did not match on either side. While pulling it out of the sleeve, I sighted down the notches, and it became obvious that some of them were sticking higher than others. Buy this junk if you don't want to waste your time.
It is easy for the notched straight edge to scrape the fingerboard because it is sharp around the notches. There is no value in the file. I don't quite like the first half of the job, as there are random missing abrasive sections. The second half is a little better, but it's still kind of a sock You need a precision tool for this job. In the event that I had seen it earlier, I wouldn't have purchased it.
Electric guitars will not fit. The material is great. I like it very much.
That's funny. Normaly, I wouldn't write such a negative review, but I own 15 guitars, and after trying this on them, I'm sure this won't fit. My online purchase could very well be the most bad decision I've ever made.
I don't even think it fits the neck of the guitar at all. If you want to make me happy, send me one that fits standard The cover won't even fit a mini guitar. A friend of mine and I couldn't find a guitar that fits me at his music store. A correct one would be appreciated. BRING ME MICKEY.
If I had read the reviews first, it would have made sense, but it should be easy to make one that works, right? As with other reviewers, I found the surface of the ruler to be very sharp and found it difficult to adjust to fit my three guitars (Gibson Les Paul, Breedlove acoustic, and Fender Strat). There were six pieces of broken stone in the package.
It's okay, I did that! Yes, I agree! It is easy for the notched straight edge to scrape the fingerboard because it is sharp around the notches. This is a great weapon to have. There is no value in the file. The stone arrived broken. It's not straight and has random missing sections of the abrasive. It might make a good butter knife though. You are saving money by not purchasing a StewMAC.
