These were purchased in the event that my tenor banjo's strings broke and I needed to restring it. I haven't had to use them yet, but I took a look at them after I received them and they appear to be quite nice.

I tried them in jazz tuning just to see how they sounded, and they sounded fine, nothing unusual. br>br>On a tenor, I really got them for open g. They sound great when tuned DGBD on a 19-fret neck. I'm sure I'll get them again in the future.
