I was pleased overall, but after only a few weeks, I was performing casually when my drive string snapped in half just ahead of the bridge. I don't play nearly loudly enough to have worn out the strings after only a month of playing for no more than 20 minutes per day - I used to have a set of strings on there that lasted for years! I won't be buying this style again because the sound was bright enough for home but still a little muddy, and I won't be buying it because of the obvious flaw.
I wasn't even given the opportunity to play a single note. During tuning, the base of the fifth G string broke. It's a little more expensive than other brands, so I'm disappointed.
After three weeks of use, these strings were rusted. After each session of playing, I wipe my strings. They looked and sounded fantastic, but I'm only giving them two stars because of this. I'm going back to the D'adarrio strings that I started with.
Although it sounds good and is simple to play, one of the strings broke the day after it was installed.
These are, without a doubt, excellent strings. However, the day after they arrived, I went to put them on my banjo, and the ring at the bottom of one of the strings broke, rendering one of the strings useless. I guess I'll have to order something else. br>br>Thank you.
Outstanding strings.
Strings of excellent quality at a reasonable cost.
Hold the tune for a long time. Excellent strings maintain a high level of tuning stability.
