Questions & Answers
You should look at the responses to this query on the GC and MF websites. According to Roc N Soc, this is only a problem with the Tower models, which look like barstools. If you need help, contact Roc N Soc. Although I do not use the back, I intend to purchase one. This is a fantastic chair, which I use for typing.
If it's a roc n soc, the seat should have two holes on the bottom.
Everything you'll need to attach it to the throne is included. Just make sure your throne is equipped with the two holes on the bottom.

However, it is very comfortable. The amount of "left/right" movement of the seat has been limited since I attached it to the two holes. The plate that allows the seat to swivel is obstructed by the mounting. There were no instructions, but it was easy enough to figure out. It would be fantastic if someone could figure out how to install it so that the seat can swivel.
This throne has a clear winner in my opinion: it's fantastic. After 15 years of use, I've decided to add a backrest, which I highly recommend. I have a second throne, a top-of-the-line gibraltar, on which I keep my practice equipment. It's the backrest model, and I can assure you that NO COMPARISON CAN BE MADE. br>br>The Roc n' Soc RETURNS to its original position with the backrest. rather than collapsing Most thrones have trouble staying straight when the backrest is installed, especially if you sit up a little. The Roc n Soc, however, is not one of them. Plus, even I, who has a limited tool set, was able to install it in less than two minutes. I STRONGLY advise you to do so. VERY encouraging.
The back rest arrived on time and in excellent condition in its box. I couldn't find any instructions inside the package, but the parts fit together after some thought. The backrest is a good fit for the seat and feels sturdy. It supports my back at about the right height along my spine, and it appears to be fairly sturdy at this point; I'm hoping it will stand the test of time, but only time will tell as I play more.
When I can sit back and dance with the back of this throne, I know I'm in the zone. It reminds me to unwind and allow the rhythm's spirit to do the heavy lifting. It appeals to me.
I've had my throne for well over a decade and purchased a back for it when I first got it. It began to deteriorate over time and became unusable. br>br>This is an excellent replacement back rest for any musician looking to save their back. br>The item was about $5 more at the usual box music stores, but with free shipping (if you're a Prime member), this was the best deal. br>br>Installation was a breeze, and the height adjustment is fantastic. Between now and January, I'll be performing in six musicals. This is something I'm glad I got!.
It took forever for this to become available, but once it did, I grabbed it. Being able to relax while playing has helped my back tremendously.
It's strange getting used to a backrest because I've never played with one before, but it's definitely useful. I would strongly suggest it.
This back rest is on my spare/practice throne, which I purchased in 1994. Love it@.
