Seat height is 5 inches. If you're referring to the shaft, it's an expandable clamp that can be extended up to 1 inch. It has two adjustments, allowing you to tighten it while still allowing it to swivel. By the way, this is an excellent seat. It's very relaxing. It serves as a piano stool for me. However, for drummers, it will suffice. It's on a DW heavy-duty stand now.
Yes. if you have the Gibraltar back support unit (10 screws and plate).br>Best of luck, Jeff.
Yes, it's a brand-new clamp design that's built to last.

To begin, I'll say this: I got it and am fine with it because I got it for less than half price from Amazon Warehouse Deals and it had never been used. So it's a great deal at that price. PROS- The clamping system is excellent, and the seat is of good quality. I haven't yet placed it next to my other stools- It isn't one of those small, cheap seats because it has a 13 or 14-inch diameter. CONS- It isn't even close to being worth the 55-minute drive. 70 dollars for a new item. It is not a thickness that is "full height. " If that makes sense (probably 4"), I'd say it's about midsize. It's not as thick as, say, a regular decent mapex, Pork Pie, or something similar, but it's also not as thin as a beginner mapex. We'll see what kind of "crush" it has because it's a little softer than most stools. (I despise it when I suddenly feel like I'm playing lower as a seat sinks during a performance. ) Overall, it's a good stool, but it's not worth the full retail price; for an extra $30, you could get a decent complete stool. It's not just the chair. For a high-end set-only situation, I get a price like this.
Being so thick, it's a little difficult. I haven't had the opportunity to use it for a four-set gig yet, but I suspect it will be more comfortable than a smaller cheap seat under extended use circumstances.
I purchased this to replace a 20-year-old throne. My legs were fine, but the seat was making me sick. This was an excellent match and exactly what I was looking for. I'm considering purchasing the entire set for my other gear.
The clamp is sturdy and the seat is comfortable. It's not quite as firm as I'd hoped, but it's perfectly adequate for the money.
It's a nice seat, but it doesn't come with the feet. Only the CUSION SEAT is available for purchase.
The most cost-effective option.
This is a replacement seat for the same one. (Daily use for more than ten years).
I used it to replace my old mpc seat, which now looks great and is very comfortable.
