Selected User Reviews For DW Drum Workshop CP9100M 9000 Series Tripod Throne w/ Round Seat
From the late 1970s until around 1998, when I purchased a well-made Yamaha 9000 series throne, I used a round Yamaha 9000 series throne. tractor seat model from well-known brands. That was something I used for a long time but didn't care for. br>I wanted to get back on a Yamaha throne, but they no longer make a high-end round seat. So I took a look at this DW 9000 throne, and I'm really impressed so far. It's as solid as a rock, with a firm, slightly domed top that prevents the circulation in the back of my legs from being stifled. On a round throne, I feel much more at ease, and this one is particularly nice.
This throne, like all DW products, is built to last and is as solid as a rock. It should last for a long time. The cushion, on the other hand, is extremely hard. It's booty ache city after a half-hour on this thing. The cushion would be given 5 stars if DW made it more comfortable.
I didn't think the higher price was justified, but I was mistaken. It was well worth the time and effort. If my house burns down, a portion of the insurance proceeds will be used to immediately replace this throne.
I have a DW 5000 throne that I use for gigging because it is smaller and easier to transport, and it has a 13" seat. The seat on this DW 9000 throne is 14 inches wide, which may not seem like much, but it makes a big difference. This throne's memory lock comes in handy. It's in my band's studio where we rehearse or record. br>br> Extremely comfortable and durable. In comparison to the 5000, which has cheaper plastic grips, the legs have high-quality rubber grips. This is the same throne that was used for the DW Airlift seat. 14" is also an option. It is 19 pounds in weight, as opposed to 15 pounds for the 5000. br>br>This is a seat that I strongly recommend.
This throne is a huge improvement over my old PDP drum throne, and I absolutely adore it. My keister is so comfortable even after hours of playing because the seat area is much larger and softer. It has a lot of heft to it. It's a colossal colossal colossal Just take it.
The foundation is rock solid. The seat is extremely durable and comfortable. The foundation is rock solid.
The best products are those made by DW!!.
This drum throne is fantastic. It is comfortable to sit in. The ease with which the height can be adjusted is fantastic. It appeals to my tastes.
