Will this damper fit a treeworks model chime up to a certain size?

The Tre35, TreXO, Tre35RC, and Tre303 models will benefit the most from this Mount and Damper. On smaller chimes such as Tre23, Tre202, Tre417, Tre44, and Tre28, it will be over-sized but still dampen properly.

Could you recommend a good stand for mounting these chimes if you don't have one?

The clamp allows you to attach it to any stand, and since it's an aux part, it'll most likely be a complement to your sus cymbal. Because the item is heavy and extends outward, a wide-based, slightly heavy-bottom stand is recommended. It can also be clamped to a music stand and used as an additional table.

The mounting system is sturdy and reliable. I don't use the damper very often, but it does the job. Now that I know I won't use it much, I think I'd prefer to save the money and buy the mount instead. In any case, there's nothing to complain about!
