Questions & Answers
There is a question mark over my head. I believe it will fit the pedals I own. Yamaha, Tama, DW, and Axis are the four manufacturers. The beaters are old fashioned and have been around for a long time. It seems like I can almost picture a friend of mine using them with a Speed King. You might be able to get an answer to your question by contacting Danmar. Although I am not sure I could give you a definitive answer, both this felt beater and the Danmar wooden beater are among
The 3261 does not appeal to me in the same way, but this beater is pretty damn great! You can hear the classic thump in When using different brands, I have a difficult time getting the beater to hold it's shape, however, the beater by itself looks to be keeping its shape well
That is what I
The distance between the base of the shaft and the nut on top of the beater is about 20 cm. A little over 8 3/4"

I like the classic vibe of this There's no question that you get a deeper tone with this beater than with the smaller modern beaters. A timeless design like this one will never date. The felt on mine just wore out after a decade or two (I used it that way for a flat hit), but I re-did it after a decade or so. I never tried adjusting the cam for a more flat response, because it just feels right. This one has no holes, and the PS3 batter is coated. It also has reso that is clear (or FS), and felt on both sides. Bass drums like this are for men only!.
I can't believe how awesome this little beater is. There is just the right amount of mass and perfect consistency and firmness for it to deliver a powerful punch. I assure my fellow 18" kickers that they do not need to shorten the shaft (unless they insist on striking the beater dead center, which is a foolish endeavor!). You'll love it!.
It still looks brand new after all these years as I still have my cherry red wooden beater from my time in a hard rock touring band. My musical style now is Jazz Fusion, and I found the felt beater to be the ideal instrument to get that sound. Look no further than Danmar if you're looking for a new beater, they've got it all covered!.
The sound and weight of the object appeal to me. I didn't like how it rattled because the top and bottom washers were not tight to the felt. I had to use thick waxed floss to fix it, but that shouldn't be necessary. The build quality is poor, so I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for that A quality product.
Danmar Beaters are great for that.
This pair of Danmar beaters is to die for. My pedals will mostly be covered by these. There is a lot of punch and attack in this than in.
A late bloomer would not fit in A. D. 90s/early 100s I have an Iron Cobra pedal from the early 2000s. I was very impressed with the quality, but the pedal would not fit in the hole of my Tama Iron Cobra. When I struck this against the drum head, it sounded amazing, which is a shame since it had the potential to be a great sound. There should be a note in the description about the pedals that work with it.
