On cymbals, nylon has more ping, but on tips, it has less wear and tear. However, some say that nylon tips fly off too easily. The wood tip of the Vic Firth Metal (wood tip) is better for practice and 5A or 5B (wood tip) is better for playing. Wood has better rebound on the toms and snares, and you have more control over the sound. In my opinion, the 7A is better suited for small children than for adults or teenagers even with small hands, just like the 7A.
These are hickory trees
You can use them as a beginner drummer, yes. It is still a good idea to check with your instructor before buying this size of drumstick. It may be desired by some band instructors that they use a different size, such as Thanks a lot!
The 5A band is what I have used for many years, but I originally learned it in marching band with 2B, and I later switched to 7A for concert band, jazz band, The music store may recommend you try to compare two or three sizes to see which one works best for the child's grip and a medium thickness, if that is what works for the child

Vic Firth is a great company, they make good products, but I always have to Buy multiple pairs because at least one stick breaks Although I have trouble with other manufacturers, I don't consistently have this issue with them as I do with them. I'm sure it has to do with the volume of trees they deal in, and the fact that trees are trees. It's not always about breaking early the sticks that last a long time and sound great are the ones that don't.
He has always had lighter sticks, but these ones are heavier. The musical instrument I gave him for Christmas is a guitar and keyboard, and he is just starting to learn how to play the drums. These sticks are heavier in weight and used in a different way than lighter sticks, but he said they are good quality and Vic Firth is one of the top drum stick brands. The project is going well for him.
I used to have a cheap knockoff- It took only a few months for sticks to become shredded and unusable. I have only found a few dents after one month of consistent use. I have not observed any The weighting and balance are fantastic, and the hold is smooth as silk.
A review based on my experience with an electric kit from them is presented here. R16 - Roland 17. For electric kits, I prefer lighter sticks, so I have always preferred sticks rated It was my favorite for some time until I tried these. Before these, my favorite was ZILDJAN'S SUPER 7A green dipped stix. It is a lot more fun to jam on these because of their balance and weight. There is no good way to describe it. As I just got them, I cannot speak to their longevity, but I will come back and give you an update if I experience any issues in the near future.
Among various brands, I purchased a small stack of sticks in different sizes and marketed them to myself This was the set I found myself reaching for every single time. Regardless of whether any other sticks felt wrong, this was the set I felt myself reaching for all the time. It was a pleasant experience for all of them. Some of the best sticks come from Vater and promark. would say that the Vic Firth recordings feel more natural to my ear It feels great for double strokes and rim shots even though these are 7A sticks. Just as important is the fact that they are stable and absorb a lot of the impact. My grip seems to be taking no energy from me. My wrists felt jarred with rim shots on other brands in this size, which were either a little too lively during double strokes or a little too lively during double strokes. I could be the only one doing that.
DRUMSTICKS SURROUNDING THE WORLD ARE AWESOME! A FEW DRUM STICKS HAVE broken in 15 years of daily use as I have been using them every day for over 15 years. I can't say enough good things about this! THE BUY IS WELL WORTH IT! The best sticks you can buy are 7A sticks! WOODEN DISHES ARE VERY LIGHT WEIGHT AND OF GOOD QUALITY Their services are HIGHLY recommended over those of any other competitor. I mean it. I agree *K.
My son picked these up from the store. It felt almost as if they were splintered. In this case, Amazon did a good job of The same exact ones I bought online in a music store were perfect for me.
The instruments my son uses every week are both used at the university jazz band and as part of his ministry at church. He will wear them out after several sessions and several months of use, but not after several sessions and a long time. His only goal is to be Vic.
