Wallace TWCM17 Studio Trumpet Practice Mute

After I saw a review of this mute on YouTube, I bought it. There's a price to pay for this I was shocked to receive it since I didn't expect it. There is not much difference in sound between this mute and a $15 mute made in China, it's just more versatile. It can be adjusted a bit, but to me it's not worth the $90 at all. Because of the way I dropped it shortly after buying it, I wasn't able to return it. Otherwise, I would have done so. The mutes I have sound just as good and are more versatile-- I have cheaper mutes that are equally good A flowing river. The mute is beautiful, and you can get the sense that it is of high-quality The quality of the recording doesn't seem to be as good as it should be. like what I expected because I thought it was going to be like a trumpet but very low and it is not that way. It totally changes the sound of the trumpet. Since I am not a trumpet expert, all I can tell you is that it's not much better than the 10 and $15 mute I The humble opinion of one humble person.

About 15 years ago, I started playing trumpet and have used a variety of mute types during that time. My favorite mutes are the Wallace Studio Trumpet Practice Mute and the Wallace Studio Brass Practice Mute! When I bought the Walace mute, I wanted to move away from Yamaha's There was too much resistance in the silent brass system, batteries were required, and there were wires everywhere. a free blower, had a great weight and feel, seemed very durable and well made, offered settings for adjusting the resistance, and really reduced the volume (which was the primary goal, As I mentioned above, the Wallace mute will reduce the volume of your horn to around that of the Silent Brass If you think about it in retrospect, I can't see how a mute like Wallace's could justify the purchase of Silent Brass. About 65 dollars were received for this mute. Silent Brass retails for between $100 and $150, according to a quick search We are offering a discount of 125 dollars The only reason to buy a clunky console is for the extra wires, plugs on the end of your horn, and clunky console, when a mute as good as Wallaces will do? Now that I've owned my Wallace Studio Trumpet Practice Mute for about a week, I see a lot of potential in it. It's my favorite place, and my family does too. Watching TV with my wife and son, I have done long tone Additionally, they had just moved into the building next door. The customer service at Brookmays is excellent as well. The ebay and brookmay's sites both appear to be active. The mute could be found for thousands of dollars cheaper on the com site. In the end, I got the difference refunded back to my account. The Wallace product is very good along with using Brookmays and I plan to buy more Wallace products in the future.
