I would rate it as excellent in every respect

An all-around good bucket mute is a must for me, as I am a high school trumpet player. There is nothing better than this muted version of "bucket mute", when it says that My favorite thing about it is that it gives me that classic big band sound, but it also works well in a solo group or small jazz ensemble. My main bucket mute will continue to be this one for years to come, regardless of the changes.

The sound is nice and the fit is good

Despite the fact you are hearing your tone immediately with this mute, it gives you a nice sound and allows you to practice more quietly. Even though it's not exactly the same as the actual tone, it's close enough to practice.

That hasn't been the case for a while

I purchased this mute years ago and I find it much more comfortable than one I bought in the past. The product does the job, but I would consider a different brand.
