Despite the fact that this muffles (muffles) the sound, it would still not be quite quiet enough unless your house is large and you live a long way away However, you will have to hear your own sound when you are learning. Considering that you are in the learning stage, I am not sure if you would want to invest in this, but a silent brass system is ideal for practice that is quiet and you can still Though they are somewhat expensive, they are worth it.
My mini-fridge came with a charging port. That was what I purchased mine for Brass instrument.
It is too small for a flugelhorn with this mute.
It doesn't seem like there is much The only thing I know is that I can not hear my trumpet very well through this mute. It is okay for me to practice all I want and my wife in the next room will not hear a thing.

This is a practice microphone that I just bought. It's nice to be able to play for as long as I want without disturbing anyone. No matter how hard I try, it stays inside my horn. It was a pleasant surprise to receive it. It didn't occur to me that it was compact, so I didn't know whether I would enjoy There are only four feet in the mute. My trumpet bell extends about a half-inch beyond my shoulder. As long as the mute is still in the trumpet, it can be put back in the case without having to be removed. With its compact size, I can fit it in my case and not take up a lot of The mute I have is great.
I found this to be an unbelievable find. After the kids go to sleep, I like to play the trumpet and I used to use a normal mute because I felt guilty Unlike any other mute, this one makes virtually no noise! It would be suitable to play it while your baby is sleeping inside his or her room. In terms of cons, there are no real drawbacks. The only drawback is that you have to exert a little more pressure on your breath. Practice makes perfect, however.
When the air flow is big, it can get a little stuffy in the high register. As a result, I can't give it five stars as the practice mute, in general, hasn't been perfected yet. In standard use, they are, by definition, a compromise. We'd rather not have to use them, but if you must, why not choose one that can fit in the bell or another place in your gig bag so that it's always handy for warming up when you need to? The mute in question demonstrates that practice mutes do not need to be very large in order to be useful and efficient.
When I plugged in this thing, it almost completely stopped the airflow and I couldn't hear what notes In order to do this, I cut a 1/4" channel through the cork using a razor blade. I can hear what I'm playing now because I can get enough sound from it. Even if her husband is sleeping in another room, she is still able to sleep there. Additionally, it allows me to play the full range of my instrument. Up until now, it was pointless to try to play above the staff.
The purchase was part of a replacement purchase for a Stone model I re-lined an old practice mute that I had lost. It is unbelievably Not much noise is made. The pressure on the back is a bit higher than on I lined it. However, you may be disappointed in the sound quality (at least to my ears), which is not what I'm looking for. Fortunately, I live in a condo and I am not a very competent trumpet player as it is, so this is a good thing for my neighbors. It is recommended.
It's unbelievable quiet, and yet it has almost no I've got it in my horn the whole time! I can now freely express myself without having to worry about being offended. Worth three times as much as the original.
Another one I bought is this one. It was my first one and it was given to a student of mine who sometimes has to practice with others nearby. Throughout the whole range, there is only a minimal noise level, and the intonation is very good. This isn't meant to be a long, hard practice, but rather a warmup and brief practice session.
Although this is an expensive muted device, the sound quality is affected due to the limitations in sound production. It is necessary for a good sound to have a high input of air, but if you play relaxed, it is difficult to hear yourself Using the mute will improve strength and not allow the sound to be as bad as it is on lower register notes.
