There is a lot of good practice here. To get the right tone, you will have to pay careful attention to the inflection.

This is an incredible It's great to have a mute like this! It was important to me to find something which I could play in my apartment without bothering my neighbors because I am a brass player but new to trumpet

As much as 70% of the sound is cut out, the sound has a cool jazzy whine to it and really comes to life in the higher registers. I can actually play around for as long as I want without being overwhelmed by vibrancy and noise. I found that although the motion does create some pressure in the back, it feels natural and has allowed me to use it throughout My mute is getting better looking every day and this one hasn't failed me on the cork yet, but I've only had it for two weeks so I'll update if it does.

This is a great tool for practicing at home

The trumpet practice horn was bought by my spouse so that we can practice the trumpet in our row house without disturbing our neighbors or sleeping child. Although I hear him playing it in the basement when I am directly above him on the main floor, I cannot hear the trumpet at all on the main floor. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Maintaining peace in the area

I found a good compromise to allow my son to practice due to a house guest being bothered by the sound. The school was closed because of Covid.

This is a perfect little mute for warm-ups or practice. It is portable and very convenient for using. Does not interfere with a gig bag or case, as it fits through the bell neatly.
