The Jupiter carries a tapered fit that can be used to fit a range of bells. I own a Yamaha YTR2330 with a standard bell that fits fine. I would say that unless the Jupiter has a completely non-standardized bell it will fit.

You will need to blow some slow and long 'HAAAAA's into the bell, steam it up, then turn on the mute. After it has been put in, it will not fall out. And what a great sound it was too! But most importantly, what a great work out! As soon as I got it, I put it into my computer (without the WOW!) The center piece was impressive, but not as functional, because I gave it a mere anemic blow. There was not much sound coming from it. When I looked at it, I thought it was damaged. The Miles Davis rattle is not here! It took me a moment to think about it, take a proper deep breath, and actually punch I love this! My voice is similar to that of Miles. Okay, so it doesn't sound like much, but it does make a rattle.
This is a 2 star review out of a lot of 5, but I thought there were obviously going to be some flaws where a few bad mutes slip out, but I will just say it did sound good, and was quality and resonant. My order arrived the next day (they shipped it quickly and it was in good condition without dents or damaged packaging). Whenever I tried it out the first time, I heard neither a buzz nor a resonance. It has been a while since I I'm looking for ral bubble mutes to use. My first impression of the plating was that it was cheap, but I didn't consider it until I started getting stains on my hand from the plating around the stem rim. In addition to that, (as I have noted before) the sound is less buzzy and resonant than other Harmons I've played on, both My first impression was that this would be another great mute, but I was disappointed because it was a Harmon brand. Finally, the logo felt like a cheap sticker and looked cheap. In the end, it was a cheap mute priced at $5 made in China and then slapped on with a don't think it's worthwhile to purchase it or to waste my time using it. I definitely recommend the Jo-Ann products. Compared to the Price bubble mute, the price is about two times that of this mute. However, the price is totally justified.
I have no knowledge of whether or not YOUR 11-year-old is learning how to play That's not the case! Two of these standard Harmon mutes were purchased by my grand kids to use as trumpet mute It could be useful in the jazz band that my grandson starts and my grand daughter might be able to use it from time to time in the symphonic band. Both received them as Christmas presents and were delighted with them. Keeping their trumpets playing will be crucial if they want to continue playing.
It is the first one I ever used. These have been my favorite products for over 40 years. The first one belonged to my performing arts elementary, and the other two were from my home As for the second one, I bought it when I played for money in High School, and this one has an old cork with a newer one. My goal is for them to last for a long time to come.
There is no logic to this design at all. Other mutes stick fine, but this one is not designed to extend far enough into the bell for it to grip hard enough to stay in place. As a result, I am returning this POS, and I am irritated at how I wasted my time and money.

It was time to get a new pair of mutes, since I have used them before. Clearly, something is amiss since the cork seems too thin and, thus, it can't hold the weight of the bottle. There is a problem with the attachment or the shank length is wrong (too short). My hand falls out if I do not hold it tightly.
