Yes, it should be a perfect fit.
It'd fit, but it'd be extremely sloppy.
My son's Bach 6 1/2 AL works perfectly. br>I'm not sure about the 5G, but you might be able to find a comparison of the lengths online.

Protec produces good products, in my opinion. This one, too, did not let us down. Durable and space-saving. My mouthpieces for the 6 1/2 AL and 12C trombones fit perfectly and are well protected. br>br>There's nothing I don't like about them, but a discount for buying two would have been nice.
My trombone case doesn't have a compartment for storing mouthpieces. br>br>This keeps my Marcinkiewicz 15 mouthpiece, which has a large shank, safe in the storage bin. It appears to fit both my large shank and small shank mouthpieces without difficulty. br>br> The large shank fit perfectly, and the small shank did not rattle. br>br>As for the "giftability" rating, it'd be a strange present. You'd have to track down someone who plays low brass, has an extra mouthpiece, and prefers a single-mouthpiece case rather than a multi-mouthpiece case.
My daughter required a carrying case for her baritone horn mouthpiece. It's padded, and it's available on Amazon for a very low price. I was concerned that it wouldn't fit, but it does. It's well-made and functional. Although it is written for trombone, it can also be played on a baritone horn. Unfortunately, nothing specifically for a baritone horn was ever listed in my search. So I'm relieved to learn that a trombone mouthpiece case will also work for it.
From atop a dining table, this pouch fell to the ground by accident - no dent! I like that I can put a belt through it and carry it around with me to gigs or just to keep it on for easy access during the day. The gaps created by the flap also allow enough air to pass through the mouthpiece. In damp conditions, I don't have to be concerned about bacteria growing.
When my son's thin nylon pouch broke, I bought this for him. I needed something more durable to take to and from school (while classes were still in session). The pouch has a good amount of sturdiness to it. It fits in his backpack and provides excellent protection for his mouthpiece. The reinforced edges are particularly appealing to me. For us, it was unquestionably a wise investment.
My son's mouthpiece fits perfectly in his school locker. He cannot leave anything personal in the case because he shares the baritone at school. As a result, this is ideal for him to keep in his locker and bring to school.
This is a nice little pouch for keeping your mouthpiece safe and clean. It's the perfect size for my baritone mouthpiece, which is 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The padding on the inside is thick and soft, providing excellent protection. It also has a belt loop that allows you to quickly access the mouthpiece. This was an excellent purchase that was also reasonably priced.
