Selected User Reviews For Yamaha Trombone SILENT Brass Mute Only (PM5X)
As someone who has owned a silent brass system (for trumpet) for years, starting with the first version that was substantially improved, I am familiar with its capabilities. There's something I like about Yamaha offering a pick up mute as an accessory separate from their "personal studio". It's easy to use different mutes on different instruments without having to buy the same thing over and over throughout my career. Even better than the trumpet pick-up mute, the trombone pick-up mute works even better. The speakers are extremely quiet if you do not have With the silent brass you won't disturb anyone with your trompettes as they can be quite loud.
