The mute is 8" in size
There is most likely a way to bend the three tabs inward so that they are tight enough. Despite its size, my 8 7/8 inch bell fits snugly in it.

Is able to perform its function as intended. The tone is mellow, and the volume is not radically lowered. This can be used as a practice mute if you don't want to wake the neighbors up and don't practice when they are sleeping, as it allows more sound to pass through than There is only one negative that I would like to point out the bell of the horn can't be put on quickly without scratching it. The mute is not to blame for that. The way it is is the way.

- The back of the headphones can be difficult to remove, especially when having to initiate mute changes in a hurry. I. - Boxes had been cracked and the rubber foot coverings were exposed. Metal feet can scratch your bell when the rubber dries out or cracks more, leaving the metal exposed. You can give the feet an extra coat of rubber paint by purchasing some rubber paint. I. - The use of this product causes pain in the buttocks. Lastly, we conclude I think that this mute is great for the price. The thing to remember is that you won't be required to play too many passages that require bucket mute, and you'll be fine.
It took practice and help from a friend to figure out how to attach it to the trombone. The mute had to be put in place by a technician, and I had to learn how to install it. Nevertheless, it does what it's supposed to do, and I have to play the next six measures to finish the song.
The quality is excellent and it's I have purchased a number of Humes and Beg stonelined mules in the past, and the only thing I have been disappointed in was the corks falling off, which could be easily repaired. In the future, I will purchase H&R Block As long as I play brass, I'll play B mutes!.
It's a strange combination since I'm a bass trombonist and sometimes a tenor. A History of Humes & Co. in Four Volumes berg bucket lets you blend in with the saxes with its unique sound. Though I'm not entirely happy with the bass trombone version of this, it works for the purpose it is intended. Because of the following reasons, it doesn't deserve five stars Honestly, we need to face this truth You could scratch your bell if the metal clips get bent. There is nothing special about this mute (which is really only used by.
arrived as described and was a perfect fit for the bell. If you order a bell, you will need to measure its diameter. When I compared it to a straight mute, I was suprised at how different the sound was. Despite the fact that our family has played the trombone for two generations, this is our first time playing it with a bucket muted horn. You may want to hear this sound if you write music.
I like how easy it is.
