A tenor trombone mute like this is called a trombone mute. As soon as the front cup is removed, the mute becomes straight. There is some type of metal in it and I find it works great. It is of very high This is an excellent trombone mute for any player who enjoys playing trombone.
Brass trombones are called for in this piece. There was an error in the description. You'll be able to use it with pretty much any model The ones for bass trombones are larger, I believe.
We will get rid of the cup part and get a straight section instead. You are muted. use it in a jazz band playing big band music and am very happy with it. The results are great, but sometimes it is too slow to change from one to the other quickly.

Mute that is very good in quality. For the first time in thirty years, I bought one. It has been an incredible journey for them. I like how easy and light it is and how smooth the sound is. I like how it looks as well. The product serves a need well that I had neglected for over 30 years. I highly recommend it. Just joined a jazz band here in St George, Utah after not playing trombone for 30 years. It's hard to find a quality product nowadays. Thank you for making such a great product!.
This cup has an adjustable cup part, so that it can be used for various open or tight sizing There are sounds associated with cups. The construction of the Jor-specific mute is improved over its similar counterpart A cup mute is the only one I have, and it responds and blows better in the low section than any other cup mute I've I only find it unappealing to listen to the "metallic" sound - the Humes & Young song The sound of Berg stonelined cups will always be warmer and more classic. However, I have a hard time creating corks that sound good in the low register without altering the shape.
A great cup mute with a nice sound when the situation demands one. This bell is well-crafted, stays put in the bell (8 1/2" small bore), and is a pleasure to use all around. Not sure why the review process wants to know how versatile it is - it's a cup mute, for heaven's sake. You would put it in the cup when it says "mute" and take it out when it says "open" not much else is needed.
Dennis Wick's tenor trombone mute is responsive and maintains a very even tone across During rehearsals and performances, I use it. It would be great if they started up again.
With the Denis Wick Adjustable Cup Mute I feel as though I'm wearing a mute. I am very pleased with how well it is The machine has now been in my possession over a year, and it still runs as smoothly as ever. In addition to the amazing sound, there are awesome visuals as well. This mute fits me well, and I play a lot in Theatre Pits, so I must be able to remove and insert it fairly All trombone players need to place this in their mute bag.
Although the 8" size is too small for my trombone with an 8 1/2" bell, it works as expected.
It is light in.
He is a part of the jazz band and the pit orchestra at his school. What he needed was right there. It was a pleasure working with you!.
