Thanks for reaching out to me! If it fits, then it should be okay. There are 1 3/4" between the short and small ends of the rod. If it goes out of the bell, you may need to add more foam to make it tighter. This is a really cool pair of We wish you a very happy holiday season! Sales14 Direct
There is no doubt that this is a
In fact, yes. is designed to fit in a large bore F-style pipe This is the trombone attachment.
My name is Josh, and this mute comes around The bell would be about 5 inches too big for my conn 88h, so in most cases it would not fit, unless you were using a gig bag.

I've been able to practice in an environment that required silent practice. It always felt like the Yamaha Silent Brass device was distorting my low and midrange, even after I bought it in the mid-to-late 1990s You can view range pitches here. Since I started playing guitar, I've used many types of practice mutes. I'm so disappointed during my practice sessions that even at home I just plug in the Sshh mute so I can minimize my own struggle. I had to get a Bremner because it was far superior in terms of pitch accuracy and overall practice comfort. The fact that I am a work in progress does not have to be known to my spouse. In my opinion, it's a solid device. I can't imagine the cork getting less adherent to the completed bell as time passes. As of now, I doubt that there is a better practice mute for trombone.
The chops on my guitar have been improving quite a bit since I got My practice has increased more these days than it has in about a year, not because of the mute. It is the first mute that I have owned, and since I bought it, my neighbors are no longer complaining about my noise. My apartment is small, so I can't stress how valuable it is to practice at 2 a. m. The start time was 00 a. m. Instead of driving out to the middle of nowhere to practice, I no longer have to travel out 30 minutes to do so. The words "flat" and "A" above it are I'm sure that varies from horn to horn and person to person, so it doesn't matter what the average horn is like. As a whole, I am VERY satisfied with this mute, and I am going to continue to use it all the time to remain fit.
That fellow didn't sound nearly as enthusiastic as you might expect. Jazz musician and I were very impressed with his, so I ordered his as well. This is a great feeling to be able to sleep through his morning practice now. Although it is mute when you are right there, you can hear it when you are closeby. We would like to give a shoutout to the Indiana University School of Music for inspiring us.
I actually have two of them one for my bass trombone (Conn 28HI) and one for my tenor (Bach 42BO) they work well together by providing enough volume that I can practice at 6am in the morning. I live in an environment where I don't have to worry about waking anyone up. After you have adjusted these mute a little bit you will notice a little bit of difference, but I find these to be "free blowing" once you adjust them. It isn't noticeable to me when I practice for a long time, though when I do that I can feel it a little.
In addition to back pressure, tone is affected as well. Light, quiet and attractive, the mute is nothing short of impressive. In high tones, it can be hard to form or reach them. I found I crack a few notes from time to time. You will experience resistance, and I find I have to concentrate more to form any notes above staff D. In this mute, plastic is the only material used, and there is nothing inside. A great deal of laughter was heard as I paid so much for a piece of mass-produced Although the mute reduces the volume of the bell, it still does so. Ultimately, that's what we need to do.
If you live in an apartment, this mute is a must-have. From the instrument, you can barely hear any sound. For practice this mute is an indispensable instrument. At first it's a bit disconcerting, and then the intonation changes slightly as would be expected.
It was purchased for my son to use mostly during warm-ups at competitions or at concerts when others are warming up as well. My first impression of this is how quiet you get and now I see why hotel mutes are called such by musicians. If you want to practice without any distractions, this is the ideal place.
10 stars is the best rating I could give to this product. Due to its extreme lightness and durability, you can have amazing pitch overall while playing as if the mute is not even present Ideal for warm ups and practice in your apartment, dorm room, garage, basement, or anywhere else you can't play loudly. It is a fantastic mute if you are looking for a mute that will make your recording sound like you were actually there.
