According to the releases dates, the two models will be released a couple of weeks apart. It's unclear to me how the two models differ after five years (Feb 2014 and Nov 2016), but I suspect the newer model does have improvement. Take the time to read the specifications before purchasing any- It will be released at the end of the year.
In short, yes. From the mute to the amp, then from the amp to the headphones, the wire goes in the bell like any other mute. The simplest way for me to handle the bell is to simply hook my fingers around its bottom edge. It's different to play with, but I really enjoy mine because I have to be quiet to use it. The majority of people can't hear me when I'm talking next to them.
The answer is probably yes, but I am concerned it will affect A trombone version of the instrument is available.

The product had first caught my attention when it was introduced to the market and I have kept it on my back burner ever The majority of my hesitation stemmed from the cost, but as a college student during covid times, I had very few options for practice areas, so I took the leap of faith. You are at stage y. highly recommend this to anyone who practices a lot or majors in music. This is especially true if you live with others who are less likely to appreciate your The headphones they sent were meh, but they are very well worth the price even if I used them instead of the meh earbuds they sent.
When I play my horn with this mute in place, my horn is so quiet. wouldn't have believed it would be possible to reduce the volume so much. There is a faint sound that can be heard. Using the included amplifier, it sounds like you are playing full sound on your horn. It didn't sound like it was playing that loud to everyone so I had to take my headphones out to verify it. Considering how much volume it limits, the amplifier is not the best. If you are playing solo, it is loud enough to hear, but if you have hearing difficulties or are using 1) I am unable to turn up the volume enough for my taste.
issue is that there is no way to adjust tuning (and there is no way to fix it) So, it is a concern that the financial crisis will spread to everyone. There is a possibility that the muscle memory would be affected a little in hitting notes spot on. However, I have found that this concern is overshadowed by the improvement that can be achieved by having the mouth piece on my lips.
It produces an amazing sound and allows you to maintain your instrument's tuning without your hand having to be in bell shape. The sounds of the Hall are beautiful, and the practice tool is amazing.
I bought this as a gift Having played horn for over 7 years, she is well versed in the instrument. Both she and I were amazed at how well this mute worked. The look on her face when she played was one of perfect amazement as she couldn't believe I was unable to hear much more than the valves and a little It was easy for me to have a separate conversation with her There is only one regret I have not having purchased it earlier.
Is a good product, does what it's supposed to do. The only thing that would make this better is competition. Although Yamaha is the only producer of these quality practice mutes that I was able to find, it seems kind of pricey.
There's only one nit to pick regarding this model with all the technological advances, one would think they could make the earbuds more comfortable. A pair of headphones is comfortable for me.
