Questions & Answers
The slide lubricant you use has to be one of the best you can get. With spritzes of water, it must be combined. Specifically, I assume it will help with the "metal on metal" scenario.
Tuning slide for the trombone is correct on TXDino. However, when it comes to trumpet players, the viscosity is perfect for the 1st and 3rd value "throw" This is the "out" slide. If it is persistent enough and does not evaporate quickly, then I'm excited to see how long it lasts. In the case of a synthetic, it should not.
Yes, I do. The grade I have is It is safe to touch the bones. Make sure you are using the least amount

It is a slide lubricant. I have tested it extensively and it works flawlessly. A King 3B electronic keyboard I recently purchased is NOT an oil or petroleum product. I find the slide tolerances to be much closer than the old slide I had at age 80. It's a blessing. In the past, I had been using a slide cream, but it wasn't working well on I had to decide between Yamaha and Slide o Mix based on recommendations from other trombone players and reviews on Amazon and other sites. Yamaha slide lube won as I didn't want to mix part A with part B and see if I could figure out the right ratio. In the video, Bill Watrous explains how to clean your slide with the Yamaha slide lube and how to apply it. It is amazing how much difference there is. When I was at an open jam earlier that night (before I got the Yamaha lube), I was constantly spraying water on my slide. Once I cleaned my slide and used the Yamaha lube, I was amazed with It only took me about an hour and a half to practice, but I only had to spray a little bit of water once at the beginning and once at the end. I want to remind you of the most important thing. Ensure that you thoroughly clean your slide by getting rid of all the old dirt. If you want to use a little bit, do it. I reiterate that this is NOT a petroleum product but rather a liquid slide cream that can be applied to computers. The translation seems to have lost something. It is something I will buy.
However, I did not find that to be the case. My particular slide (I play a King 3B) does not work as efficiently on my horn maybe because the tolerance is not as high. There is no way I can tell. This cream is definitely better than the old creams I used to use (for example, "Super Slick"), I would say that this stuff does not work nearly as well on my slide as Slide-O-Matic does There is also a bit of a catch with the Yamaha item - the applicator is crazy You are supposed to use it to prevent getting the goo on your fingers, but I find that it is more of a hassle than a useful tool. It's something I'll keep on hand just in case I run out of Slide-o-Matic The mixture has been mixed by accident, and you need to get something done.
So far, I've tried at least five different slide oils and creams. So far, this one has been my favorite. You can use it on old horns too and the reason it's better than trombotine is that you don't have to keep spraying it with water as you would with a trombotine. Almost two bottles lasted me over two years, and I played my horn for an average of three hours each week Keep the slide well oiled by oiling it four times a week. Honestly, the only thing I did wrong with it was that I left it out in my car one time during the winter and it froze. The consistency of the ice had changed since it thawed. a bit chunky and shaking the bottle didn't seem to do much to help. In other words, you shouldn't have to worry about it freezing for very long. Just make sure to shake the bottle well before every use though!.
As I have an older Conn slide, I think I might replace it since it doesn't move very smoothly. My trombone was old, and it had damaged finish on its slide (where you get those spots that form when you extend the slide), so I tested some other oils and products. This is the stuff that I recommend if your trombone is old, and has damaged finish on its slide. With this slide oil, I was able to get my slide back to "fair to good" condition. I should be able to use my slide for at least another few seasons. I highly recommend it!.
After searching for a while, I've found what I wanted. I have found Yamaha Slide Oil to be the best slide lube I've used. Now that I have retired my cracked and rolled-up tickets, I feel good about life I also store a tube of Yamaha Slide Oil in the case of each instrument instead of up tubes of trombotine. There's something unfortunate about the name "Slide Oil". As opposed to slide "oil," it is tailored specifically for the intermediate level. Those tube products for beginners attract dirt that builds up on the slide surfaces. The latest Yamaha slide-snot product is less like snot and more like The bottle looks like a gummy substance coming out of it. You will have one of the fastest slides ever once it is on the slide. My slides even got new life after this update, which gave them new life I thought they needed a repairman for. The tube worked so well for me, I bought several more after trying one for a two months. I like the product and the price is good.
Because this product does not get gunky, my Euphonium valves have a longer period between cleaning. I use it instead of valve oil on my horn because it does not get gunky. Although the change has been made, it is no longer a roll-up Since it goes from a squeeze on to a stick on applicator, putting it on my valves is much more difficult because it slides/drips off too easily. I think it's fantastic stuff, except for that.
About 55 years ago, I found a trombone that looked like it had just been made. There are some corrosion spots on the slide. This slide effect is a 5 out of 10. I used a slide cream I consider well known for its slide effects. Thus, it is now an 8 out of 10. Although I am not sure if this would necessarily make a really good slide work better than other products, it certainly breathed new life into a.
As far as I am concerned, this is the best product I have ever used to treat This trombone is from around 1917 by N White King. It is necessary for me to reapply this product about every two days The product takes 3 sessions to use, but compared to having to reapply oil all the time, this will do the trick. There is a 2-week waiting period.
