If it has a rotary valve, you can use this on any instrument

It is also used for percussion instruments, such as tubas (rotors, not pistons), trombones, etc.
Valve oil is used by other brass instruments with valves that move up and down. There is no need for rotor oil on French horns, but they have rotors that twist. There is a slight difference in viscosity between the oils.
The oil is quite nice. Not my preferred rotor oil, but nice for my 1930 rotary trumpet
I have used it in my seized up rotary trumpet. I had this freed up even before I had a chance to clean it.
It fits my trombone valve perfectly.
I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. It arrived promptly as well.
However, the product functions well despite the hard time unscrewing the container.
The quality of the product is excellent.
