Questions & Answers
I'm not sure I understand your query. The bag is of good quality and is slightly larger than a tenor trombone mute bag. It has (Velcro) separators that can be adjusted. Alternatively, there was a large side pocket with a zipper that could hold sheet music as well as a few accessories like a music stand light. My straight and cup mutes fit easily in the bag, but I can't put my bucket mute in there once those are in.
Easily. That can be done with the tenor mute bag as well. In his bag, my son has a straight, cup, bucket, and hard plunger or harmon. They're all bass bone mutes, by the way.
There were no instructions on how to use them, so I used one to divide the bag in half and the other to stick on the side; you could divide it into three sections, but my cup and bucket mute didn't seem to fit as well.

It fits perfectly and has plenty of room - I think I could also fit a cardboard straight mute and a pixie mute inside. Inside the main compartment, the velcro dividers are extremely useful. If you want to keep your mutes from getting dented or scratched, I recommend putting the bucket and Harmon in the same section. The zippered compartment can hold a 9 x 12 music folder, battery powered stand lights, and a music stand mute holder, as well as pencils and other miscellaneous items you might need on a gig. My only wish was for an attractive way to secure my trombone stand to the mute bag - Perhaps some velcro straps or something on the side, which would be a nice addition to the bag overall. I highly recommend this bag because it is well-padded and well-made. ProTec, you did a fantastic job!.
music folders that are the right size Not only did I require a bag large enough to hold my mutes and tbone stand, but I also required one that was over-sized. a folder containing orchestral music of a suitable size The side pocket with a zipper is ideal for my over-the-shoulder bag. It's a good-sized folder with plenty of room for another, smaller but thicker, one. It's a snap to slip folders in and out thanks to the ability to unzip the sides. br>br>Install the bottom reinforcement "panel" unless you want a slimmer profile. No matter how unbalanced the bag is packed, it keeps it at full width and (miraculously) upright when you set it down on the floor next to your chair. I expected it to flop over the first time I put it down, especially with the heavy folder in the side pocket. It didn't, and it's actually quite stable now. It will stay upright no matter what you put in it, whether it's music or a stand, making it a lot easier to set up at the start of a rehearsal or performance. br>br>My only suggestion for improvement is to include some sort of external mechanism to secure a tbone stand that does not break down into two pieces. My K& The one-piece stands from M and Hamilton are too tall to fit into the bag. Even with a (tenor) cup and straight mute inside, it's not a problem to position them at an angle that limits how much of the stand protrudes through the top zipper; there's still room for at least another mute and accessory bag. Because the top zipper can't fully close around the stand, having a separate side pocket for music alleviates any concerns about getting music wet while walking through the rain.
This bag has a couple of adjustable dividers that can be used to divide it into three sections. I have two compartments for my bass trombone straight and cup mutes, with room left over for all of my other gear, such as a couple of lights, plunger, slide cleaning supplies, and basic kits. A large music folder and other paper-related items can be stored in the side pocket. br>br>I haven't attempted to use a bucket mute because I don't own one. br>br>While this bag does not have a place to store a trombone stand, the stand fits nicely on top of the bag and rides along with it. br>br>Overall, I'd buy another one of these, and I'm planning to get a tenor one soon.
😕. It looks to be in good condition. made. It would be beneficial to have a few divider configuration diagrams. I'll probably go back to the gym bag I was using because I need to carry music, music stands, and trombone stands. I had hoped to consolidate, but there simply isn't enough space. This will most likely be useful for my wife's camera equipment.
Mt bag is one of my favorites! It holds and stores my BT convertible cup/straight mute as well as a second straight mute. Items such as a music folder, reading glasses, and other accessories fit perfectly. Protec is one of my favorite brands.
It does exactly what it claims to be able to do. Love it. There's not much else to say except that it holds all of the mutes and has a little extra room. It can also hold the large black music folders, which is a plus; however, I would only give it 4 1/2 stars in total. It lacks a good place to store pencils, markers, and other small items, and there is only one side pouch for music and other items in addition to the main pouch. However, a few more slots would have been nice; aside from that, this is an EXCELLENT bag.
I play a tenor trombone with a large bore, and I have a large selection of mutes. Everything will fit in the bag. I also like the sturdy, tough material that was used to make it. Additional accessories such as stand lights and extra batteries, music clips in case of wind, and a variety of other must-haves can be stored in the compartment. You did an excellent job.
I wish I didn't have as much as I do now. This is an excellent bag. I wish I didn't have so much stuff to carry around, but this bag is big enough to hold it all. I have a bass trombone cup and straight mute, a tenor trombone cup and straight mute, and a plunger in it right now, and there's still room in the main compartment. The dividers are easily repositionable and have hook and loop fasteners to keep everything safe. Small accessories can be stored in the side music folder pocket. It keeps all of my clips, lubricants, tuner, and spray bottles in one place.
