A 1905 JW Pepper trombone with no case was passed down to us. Because the trombone's neck curves, we were concerned that a standard case would not fit. This case, on the other hand, was a total success! Our 10- This case allows my year son to carry the trombone to school and protects it completely. This was an excellent purchase.
This case outperforms a lot of OEM cases. I've been a middle school band director for a long time, and I've seen a wide range of situations. Some of it is good, and some of it is bad. This one appears to be of high quality. Time and usage will tell, I suppose.
This case has a very sturdy and strong exterior. The buckles are simple to use and have a long life expectancy. My trombone (Bundy B flat) fits perfectly inside, with plenty of room for accessories and soft padding to protect my instrument from scratches and dents. This is a case I'm glad I bought.
