Thankfully, I no longer have that problem, and even if this case does hit my knee when I carry it by the handle (I usually carry a backpack for school), it does not hurt. I love the backpack straps as well. The pros are Please note Br>- I am light

In the beginning, I had received mine in the original wooden case that came with it (Holton h179). In addition to the broken corner of the case at the time of purchase, the horn (used from a college student) was in incredibly poor condition. I'm so glad I found this! Originally I had a different case, but it broke and I had to buy this one. Buying my horn at a yard sale was the best thing I've ever done. The serial number I have is not visible. We do not know any brand names. It contains no information that could be used to identify it. A bit of a gamble paid off when I bought this case. It was a little hard to believe the case was a little cheap and flimsy despite the fact that it is "hard. " I can assure you that this was not the case! Upon seeing the quality of the case, I wish that was the case in which the good horn come in. I've now found myself wishing this was the case I rented when I rented my first horn. Additionally, the bag comes with a backpack strap. If I had these when I was walking to and from school in high school, everything would have been much easier.
This is a very good My fifth grader is currently using an old horn that I have bought years ago and has a heavy case. This will be great for him. He likes the way it's so much lighter than his old one and it's pretty durable. I wish they were removable as the shoulder strap and backpack straps are nice but aren't.
