Questions & Answers

Is this case suitable for a Yamaha 671d?

This is most likely the case. You can change the padding inside the case to fit your horn since the inside is modular. In my case, I use a Holton H281, which I believe is larger than your horn, and it fits perfectly.

I'm having trouble getting my holton merker to work Fits the matic perfectly. The bell appears to be too large and will likely fall when the bag is closed. Are there any suggestions for me?

The Holton H281 I use is a Holton H2801. Your bell seems to be the same size as mine (not sure if the bell is the same height). I find that even though it fits snugly, there is plenty of padding that ensures my bell is No concern regarding 'crushing' the bell has ever occurred to me. My bell sits snugly inside the case, so over time I can spot a circle at the top of the case where my bell sits. You might have too tall a bell if your horn was once a bell horn that was converted to a bell horn. The size of the bell depends

The case appears to accommodate a standard Trum Cor mute, but if so, is it the standard model?

There will be no problem using a standard tunable mute in this scenario.

Does the optional Model# T1 Trolly have a place to be purchased?

Brazilians do not have to do it all by themselves! A few days later, I was about to drop $525 on a Marcus Bonna MB-35 flat case, which I had sworn would never be used on my 8D again It's lightweight (especially considering that it's made of wood instead of fiberglass), it has many carry options (top handle, side handle, shoulder strap, or optional backpack straps), and it has a pretty flexible interior
5/5

All of the pouches are removable from the case, including one for the 3 mouthpieces, one for the straight mute, and one for the stop mute (all are movable). I had music folders of various sizes, a notebook, and a bag with other random tools with me. With a Velcro strap to hold the body in place, the horn is pretty easy to get in and out. However, I have to be careful when I open the lid since the bell flare base catches sometimes on it. In a few hours, I'll be doing my first trip with this one -- The first time in a long time I'm looking forward to it! The pros are Please note Br>- Construction is quite beefy, but it is a lot lighter than before The flat case weighs less than a stock 8D Please note Br>- The pouch includes both straight and stop mute pouches* There is enough room inside the zippered music pouch to hold several full-sized CDs The music folders and other items are the same size too*br - There are numerous carry options available* - A backpack strap is an option if you find it uncomfortable. Mutes, tools, etc. are all accommodated comfortably.
- The value for money is great. The cons are Please note Br>- It can be somewhat complicated to open and shut (the handle closure has Velcro, the case flap has Velcro, and there are Please note Br>- Although it's tall enough to stand on its own, it's incredibly tippy (tips over very quickly on the short side if you're short). * NOTE *UPDATE This case is still in love with me after traveling with it for so long. It was a godsend to have backpack straps and shoulder straps so I could get around in the airport and on various other modes of When I wasn't traveling with it, I thought I would remove the straps (since they make it tippy to load and unload when the horn body does not weigh it down), but they're also great when I'm getting into and out of the car. In the small overhead of a puddle, it fit without much difficulty - (No gate check for me! Jumper plane! You guys are out of this world,.

I love how easy it is to transport and store
5/5

The horn teacher of my daughter recommended this case, and other students who had researched and decided on it had also expressed their satisfaction with it. My daughter's Conn 8D (circa 1990s) was well protected by the hard case that came with it, and I love how it's so much more portable and convenient when she takes it to lessons, practices, and rehearsals. There's no room for her horn to expand. He didn't move a muscle. Though she hasn't taken it on a plane yet, it's worth noting that her small Conn case can be kept in a locker in the band room, unlike the bulky Conn case, which she had to keep First-time users Here are a few tips Upon receiving the case, a friend attempted to help my daughter fit her horn into the case, but they were unable to make it work and told me it would not It caught my attention when I looked at it and I saw something they didn't see -- There is a lot of movement within the interior fittings. Velcro is so strongly securing those pieces they did not realize they were in place permanently.

This is a very compact and well-designed unit It's up to you
5/5

Yes, I think this case will work out better than I expected.
I really like the design of the inside of the modules. I had to readjust the pads on my horn because it is a bit on the large side. It still fits well, though. It is not always necessary to carry a mute on one's person, as the pouch and room provide multiple uses, plus the accessory pouch is nice. With its Velcro backing, the mouthpiece pouch can be attached anywhere within the case. I like that. Compact, yet with a great deal of storage, this case is a good choice. The horn does not move inside. It has a large pocket on the front for small items such as music, pencils, etc. I also keep all of my extra items inside the pocket. Fits music of a certain size. As for the size, I guess it's about the size of my carry-on bag, but I haven't flown with it It's still on, but a little The lightness of this item makes it appealing. When I take my horn out of the case, it's easy to get it back in. As I bought the Deluxe model, it came with a lot of extras.

A very good case, but I am a bit concerned about the bell of my horn
4/5

There is a lot of thought put into the case. It would be the level of pressure used to close the case that would be my complaint. It seems like the bell has a little too little room to ring. I was worried that I might damage the bell at the end of the case if I were to close my Yamaha 867D. My goal is to reach out to the manufacturer to see what their opinion is. In all other respects, the case is superb.

This is a great Its design is very similar to that of This is a great Design is very similar to that of In light of the price, this is an incredible deal

I've opened the app and found it to be fairly standard. The case fits my Hans Hoyer G10, which is a large wrapped horn, so it can be used for pretty much You can fit a lot of accessories into your bag thanks to its many customization options. It is possible for me to fit a straight mute easily and I have room to fit a stopped mute if I so choose. This bag has a spacious pocket on the front that can fit a music folder of any size. The unit will also fit in the overhead storage of most jetliners.

We will be able to do it
4/5

There is a bit more weight in the case than I expected. With my light weight Paxman 27 ML (Geyer wrap) horn, it fits in the deluxe model, but it's kind of To hold the horn in place, there is an interior clip strap that goes over the body of the horn. I don't like that. A soft padding and Velcro strap would have been more suitable for me. We're getting in the way of the muffle bag. It's hard for me to see where a mute would fit in. It sounds like it would go right in, so I'll see how it goes. In order to put it together, I squeeze it together and pull the zippers around while I pull it together.

The case was great, but it did not fit the Conn 8D
4/5

My Conn 8D will not fit in this case, so I am returning it. As a result, the bell protrudes too much and makes it impossible to zip up the case. The fact that it will no longer be available for me is a huge disappointment I love how spacious it is and how well-built it is. The only drawback is how heavy it is - this could be a problem for some people. The first thing I noticed when taking it out of the box was how heavy it was. I tried putting my horn in before I even realized it was heavy. I would say, however, that if you have a small horn, this case would be ideal. Oh, and I should point out that This Conn 8D is a converted bell horn that I had made from an old one. Thus, there is a chance that other Conn 8Ds may fit, as long as the bell is not too tall. It is hard to say for certain. I couldn't use the bell form that comes with the case because my bell is just too small. It was a disappointment.
