According to the article, the temperature range is as follows: Temperature Range: br>br> (-) 58°F572°F I have never used it in such extreme temperatures as 50°C and 300°C, so I can only quote what they claim. br>br>The thermometer's advertisement suggests that it can be used for candy, deep frying, "food," and other applications, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for bread. It reads quickly, has a bright display, and is easy to hold.
To be honest, I have no idea. If I didn't use a 'Meater,' I checked the leg meat (i75) and white meat (165) several times. My approach isn't to delve deeper into the bird. I'm more interested in the breast meat, and this unit can handle any turkey size.
As of 8/31/22, I see it listed on page 5 of their website.
When it's open, it'll read the temperature of the food it's been stuck in, as well as the air or water it's being rinsed in. br>It will never need to be reset.

For years, I used to have an instant read thermometer. When it finally went out, I did some research and decided to purchase this one. When you open it, it starts automatically. That's a very useful feature. The numbers are easily visible due to the large screen. The issue is as follows: br>br> It's a stretch to say that you can read something in an instant. When I insert the thermometer into the meat, the temperature fluctuates between 200 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature is set to 80°F. It takes a few moments to settle, but I can only get a 10 degree range at best. It's impossible to know if a steak should be taken off the grill at 135 degrees because this thermometer will bounce between 140 and 130 and never settle on a single number. I'm not sure when I should take my steak out. It would take a full minute for it to settle on a number, and by that time my hand would be melted. This is an awful tool for the money. br>br> For over double the price, I guess I had much higher expectations. The $15 instant read that I used for many years worked perfectly. I'm going to keep looking.
They also include a stylish design, a large, bright LED display, and a nice non-slip grip. When not in use, it has a larger opening with a slip and grip. (Of course, you might not need to use that feature with the handy magnet!) ) Combine all of this with a great price, and I believe you've got a new instant read thermometer trend-setter on your hands! And, no, I wasn't paid to say this; I bought my TP620 just like everyone else:.
I decided to test the accuracy of this thermometer after hearing from my husband that his grilled meat never came out right. The temperature of boiling water is 210 degrees Fahrenheit, while the temperature of ice water is 36 degrees Fahrenheit. I tested it three times and found it to be consistent. I'm not happy because I do a lot of baking and candy making for the holidays and need accurate measurements. I'm going to contact ThermoPro to see if it can be calibrated; if it can't, I'm out $50. Also, the magnet on the back isn't strong enough to keep it from sticking to my refrigerator or oven door, so it has to be stored in a drawer.
I bought this by mistake because I was looking for the thermoworks one but got lost in the process. With that said, I like the feel of this unit; it's easy to read and appears to be well-made; it comes with a no-name generic AAA battery, which I'll use until it dies in a short period of time. br>br>What I didn't like out of the box was that the temperature was about 3-degrees off. Despite the fact that it was "factory calibrated," the temperature rose by 4 degrees. To figure out where it was out of the box, I used an ice test and a boiling test. I had a reading of nearly 36 and was boiling at 215 degrees F. One advantage is that it can be calibrated by the user. I'm getting 32 after calibration. 212 with 2 on ice. 3. Bring to a boil If it holds, this will be more than adequate for my needs; I'll double-check before the next time I use it. br>br>Having said that, I'm not disappointed that I purchased this unit because the other one I was considering was nearly twice the price; I can live with it as long as it holds cal, but only time will tell. br>br>I'll keep you updated if any other problems arise. As others have mentioned, I had no problems with the temperature jumping around excessively.
I am delighted to express my gratitude to Amazon for selling a high-quality instant read meat thermometer. Thank you for producing such a high-quality product, Thermopro.
ThermoPro produces high-quality thermometers on a regular basis. One of them is pictured above. It's a good size, responds well and consistently, has clear instructions, and is simple to clean. It also uses a triple A battery, which is fairly common.
It's a good size, and it's easy to read and handle. This is spot on! br>A longer temperature needle means you're less likely to get burned by touching the grill with your fingers. br>Easy to clean. . . br>Excellent buy.
I've tried it out a few times and it's great. It does not update instantly, but it does update faster from colder to warmer than the opposite. However, it is still very quick, taking only a few seconds. The probe is simple to open and close, and the display rotates automatically. br>br>The bonus item in the box was one of my favorites: To open the back battery lid, you'll need a small screwdriver.
