Based on previous experience with a digital thermometer, this thermometer meets and exceeds my expectations. I like that it has a magnet that I can stick near my oven so I know where my thermometer is at all times and don't have to dig through a drawer to find it. It's simple to understand and use. This will make all of my roasting better, and it will arrive just in time for Thanksgiving.

It was a great buy! This thermometer is one of my favorite things in the world. So far, I've only had it with lamb. It's written in a way that I can understand. Fahrenheit is the unit of measurement that I use. It's extremely accurate. Because it has a magnet on the back, it can be kept on the refrigerator. It won't get misplaced in the back of your drawer. They give it to you after I put a battery in it. I'm not sure I'll ever use it for candy, but it's a nice product. I specialize in chocolates rather than hard candies.

After more than 40 years, our old thermometer broke down during Christmas dinner. It was time for a new one that was current, so I went with a digital version. After looking around on Amazon, the SOQOOL one appeared to be the best, and at a great price. I've only recently tried it, but it's fantastic. It's neat how the window illuminates and the temperature gauge is accurate. It is simple to set up and use. I like how the temperature can change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. And a great feature is that it keeps the meat's temperature when you take the temperature (so it doesn't drop in the process while you're checking the number). I was worried it would be a cheaply made item, but it is very sturdy and well made.

I was fortunate in that I purchased two different food thermometers to ensure accuracy when melting sugar in water for my bees. Soqool was a waste of time. I could tell the water was close to boiling because it started out in the 70s and gradually increased to the point where it should have immediately decked the temperature. When I inserted my second thermometer into ThermoPro, it instantly rose to 190 degrees and stayed there for a few seconds. So Soqool gets two thumbs down!.
