I used it to cook a perfect medium steak, and it was spot on. The readings from two different high-priced name-brand meat thermometers were matched by this themometer. The probes are thick and sturdy, not thin and flimsy like some others. On a technical level, using the app on my Android phone was a breeze. This is an excellent value for the money, and I intend to use this most thermometer frequently in the future. I should also point out that the screen is simple to read!.

I always seem to overcook my meat, so this is ideal because you can leave it in the meat while it cooks and monitor the temperature on the screen. Because I have toddlers, not having to open a hot oven to check the temperature every time they try to get in is a huge plus! You can use this without the app, and it's fairly simple to do so. I haven't tried it with the app yet, but once I do, I'll update this review. My air temperature and the reading on the device's screen were identical, as you can see in my photo. The only drawback is that one of my probes is 2 degrees cooler than the others. such as when compared to air temperature in the same glass of water. It's the probe, not the device; since I won't be using all four probes, it doesn't matter to me; I'll just toss that one and trust that the other three are perfectly accurate. This was a great solution. I bbq'd the steaks in my Weber Gen II gas grill with a smoke chip box, and I had a great Bluetooth range throughout my house on my phone from the bbq in the back yard. The medium well steak on the left was cooked to 150°F, while the medium rare steak on the right was cooked to 130°F. When the steaks reached their internal temperature, my phone's alarm went off. I finished both sides with a crisp sear and set them aside for about 15 minutes to rest. It's juicy and delicious to the core.

I have a number of meat thermometers on hand. It's become one of my favorites because it's not too heavy. The probe swings out easily and without much resistance. The temperature display is easy to read and has a high contrast. I don't have to fiddle with the light switch as often because it stays on longer than some of the others. The probe swings out more than 180 degrees, and the display flips over, allowing you to use it with either hand and from any direction. It is possible to re-use it. If desired, the device can be calibrated. br>It's a shame it doesn't have an alarm or a way to select or save a preferred temperature.

So far, I'm enjoying the thermometer. I'm using my GOVEE thermometer as a reference point. This one displays temperatures much more quickly. There's a 4 degree difference between the two, and I'm not sure which is correct, lol. Nonetheless, 4 degrees will not harm my bbq. The app is simple to use and the display is easy to read. The alarm is extremely loud, to the point where it may startle you. The only things I don't like about it are the grate clips and the wire connection at the end of the probe (I would have preferred a much sturdier end to make it easier to control in a hot situation).

I bought these to compare to the results of my grill probe because I wasn't confident in them. This set looks great and appears to be accurate. It was simple to install the app, which is a nice touch! Just make sure you don't get too far away from the station. When you do this, an alarm that would be used to warn everyone of an impending tornado sounds. That isn't necessary at all! Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've tried other digital thermometers before, but this one is by far the best. It can set a manual temperature target range as well as pre-programmed modes for various meat types such as beef, lamb, veal, lamb, hamburger, pork, turkey, chicken, and fish. When the temperature is approaching the target, the screen turns green and red. I use it while grilling and have been very pleased with it thus far; I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone in need of a food thermometer because of its numerous multi-function features. performs its functions.
