Yes, this is possible. I use two of them to keep track of the temperature. The meats will be cooked in my smoker, and the others will be cooked in the oven.
Pairing should not be done through your phone's Bluetooth settings. Switch to the EasyBBQ app after turning on Bluetooth, and it will pair automatically.

Hello, you don't need to be in direct line of sight to control it remotely; simply download the app to your phone. This allows you to read inside a building while having the grill outside.

I'm very pleased with the product and would like to share some observations I made after a month of use.
1. Make sure your probes are plugged in in the correct order, as the app will display port one as green, two as blue, three as red, and so on. You won't be in sync with the app unless you use the green probe for port one.
2. The wires leading to the unit are not visible in the photos. It's only wireless between the unit and your phone, not between the probes and the unit, as I originally assumed. br>3. Because the probes have a thick plug at the end that won't fit through the hole in my Pit Boss designed for temperature probes, I have to cover the cords with the lid.
4. Range is good, connection is strong, and the app includes preset temperatures for various meats, though programming custom temperatures could be easier. br>5. In comparison to other similar manufacturers, this is a fantastic price/value.
6. I'm glad I have it because I use it frequently and would recommend it.
(80 ft. , multiple walls, plush carpeting)br> - According to my wife, I have a hearing problem. br> I suffer from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and frequently lose track of my tasks. br>End result: LOTS OF BURNED FOOD (and a couple of smoke alarms)br>THIS THERMOSTAT IS AMAZING! I've had it for a long time and haven't burned anything with it. br>I put it on meat, snacks, cakes, and quick breads. I even put it in the freezer with it! br>I frequently use the 6th port as an "Oven Temp Monitor," which I simply place on the rack.
My pellet grill is a Treager Wifi Grill, and my gas grill is a 6-burner.
- A built-in temperature gauge is included with the Traeger. However, due to the disparity in size, the meat does not cook evenly. I have multiple temperature gauges with this device, ensuring that the temperature is maintained at the desired level.
- To keep the marinade's integrity, I prefer to cook lamb on a gas grill instead of a wood grill. Each meat will have its own distinct flavor as a result of this method. I can now cook lamb on the gas, chicken on the Pellet/Gas, and even fish on the Gas, as well as steak on the Pellet, with multiple temperature probes. What's even better is that each of the six probes can have its own alarm, e. g. 165°F for chicken, 130°F for medium rare steak, 120°F for lamb, and so on. br>- Lastly - There's no need to open the grill and lose heat in the process with the temperature gauge. which helps to speed up the cooking processbr>I'm so glad I came across this!.
I've used a few other meat thermometers in the past, including the Meater, but this is by far the best. br>For my smoker, being able to insert a probe into several pieces of meat while leaving another free for ambient temperature is ideal. The app for wireless connectivity is a little finicky (alarms way too often), but the temperatures are accurate, and not having to walk to the smoker to check the temps is a huge plus.
Update. I wrote this review because I was disappointed that there was a problem. However, I know of others who have had no problems, and I was given a full refund after I wrote this review. This reveals a great deal about the seller. I'd buy from them again if the opportunity arose. br>I bought this as a Father's Day present for my husband. A friend who had recently purchased one and seemed to enjoy it highly recommended it to me. It worked well for us after we used it a few times. It was nice to get an individual reading despite the tangled mess of wires. Two nights ago, while grilling steaks on the grill, one caught fire and the other began to burn. It was just over 500 degrees on the grill. I'm unable to return because it's been four days since the return policy was implemented.
Before purchasing, I read the reviews and found them to be overwhelmingly positive, but I was concerned about some of the reviews that mentioned inaccurate and widely varying temperatures, melting components, and trouble connecting to the phone. My experience is still new (I only got it a week ago), but I'm impressed so far. I had no trouble connecting to my Android phone or setting it up when I arrived. All six read 36 or 38 degrees in a glass of ice water, while four read 212 degrees and two read 210 degrees in a pot of boiling water - All of the results were within the accuracy ranges that had been advertised. The black plastic wire coiling rack that surrounds the teflon color coated probe grip melted in the oven, according to one customer review. The wire coiling rack is only rated for 170°F and should be removed from the probe grip before using in the grill or oven, according to the instructions. It's for cable management during storage convenience, and it does the job well. br>br>Right now, I'm using the system to smoke a brisket, and it's completely changed my experience from before I had it. I have four probes in the 6 pound brisket and two on the grill rack clips to monitor surface temperature after eight hours. I've had no problems connecting to my phone, and I've been able to set specific target temp alarms for each probe to ensure the grill doesn't get too hot. I can also monitor temperature trends over time to see a slow steady rise in meat temperature, as well as dips and rises in grill temperature when I open the smoker box to add more wood chips. It would be nice to be able to change the time axis' scale to look back over a longer period of time, but for a system that costs less than $50, I'm very pleased so far.
The screen visibility is good, and Bluetooth pairing was simple. I've only used it once, so I'm hesitant to tell others whether they should buy or not. It works as advertised, but I found the User Manual to be a little light on usage in regards to the Ports, Probes, and any specific one port that must be used. Also, why the color code if all probes are the same, or is that for users who want to apply color to each different meat or veggie being grilled, roasted, smoked, etc? Congratulations on a working feature. So far, I like it and plan to buy one for my son after a few more trials. If it stands up to scrutiny, it may become law.
It was a waste of money. After my first brisket smoke and probe silicone handles discolored quickly, I didn't trust the temperature it was showing, which was way too low. When I tried to use it again, I didn't trust the temperature it was showing, which was way too low. So I used my other thermometers, which revealed that the 6 probe thermometer was WAY off the mark. I've kept trying to use this six-probe thermometer, but it keeps giving me false temperatures that fluctuate. I would not recommend this product.
