Yes, in China, but it is extremely effective.
I've got a few from various companies, and they're all pretty much the same. The size is ideal, in my opinion.

I adore it so much that I purchased a second one as a present! I've been baking for nearly my entire life and had never heard of a dough whisk before. Since I was given one, I've used it to make pancakes, chocolate chip cookies, a few different quick breads, and I'm sure anything else I've baked. It's not the same as the wooden spoon I've always used, but the end result is fine, and it's not difficult to use. The only drawback is that, unlike the wooden spoon, it can't sneak me a bite of cookie dough.
This is by far the most useful kitchen tool I own. I bought it to use in a recipe that calls for mixing angel food cake mix with lemon pudding. I used to have powdery mix all over the place before I discovered this miracle whisk. This whisk blends without clogging and easily incorporates dry ingredients into wet ones. I now employ it in all of my endeavors. WOW! I used it in a coleslaw. Everyone should have this whisk because it was so simple and quick to make.
After reading the reviews, I decided to go with this model. I didn't write a review until she'd used it a couple of times. "I really like it!" she exclaimed. I can't believe I didn't already have this; it's extremely useful. has made my work a whole lot easier. " I'll also mention that some had one small circle inside the circle (I'm not sure how else to explain this, so just look at the photo). This one has a second circle that makes it much more sturdy to use, and I believe it will last a long time. I've since purchased two more for friends who like to bake, and they both loved it.
Although the overall quality appears to be excellent, the lack of products disappointed me.
The Danish dough whisk exudes a sense of quality and refinement. When I was making cookie dough, I enjoyed using the whisk to break up the butter and blend it into the sugar. The solid wooden handle has a solid, functional feel to it. br>br>When my husband was trying it out, the metal whisk end came out, but it quickly went back in and was ready to use. It looked and worked like new! br>br>It did a fantastic job of blending the cookie dough. I recommend that you wash it as soon as possible after using it - When working with sticky dough, the twisty whisk design can be difficult to clean. br>br>I'm looking forward to experimenting with pie crust, tart dough, and scones in the future!.
These appear to be fantastic. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. It was a lot of fun to use, and I even made some biscuit dough. I gave it a good hand wash and hung it to dry. When I went to use it again, I noticed that the top part connecting the wire to the wood had a hole drilled in it. It was bursting at the seams with soapy water that refused to drain. This is a manufacturing flaw. br>It's a real bummer that I have to send it back. But neither soap nor water are welcome in my home.
This was exactly what the reviews said it was going to be! I made a cake from scratch, and it turned out beautifully! Sturdy, scraped well on the side of the bowl, easy to clean, and much easier than having to take out the mixer and accessories. My batter wasn't particularly thick, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up when I make my specialty cookies. However, I strongly advise you to do so!.
This was a real pain in the neck for me. I had to stop and de-flour because it was all over the place. I kneaded it a few times, but it didn't do any better than the wooden spoon handle at mixing the bread dough. br>As a result, it's off to the drawer of useless kitchen tools. It'll keep the vegetable peeler and garlic press company while you're making "spaghetti. ".
