Pastry Forks in the Shape of a Christmas Tree - Spode Set of 6

Set of six pastry forks in a lovely package. They are 6 1/4 inches long and have a delicate appearance while being sturdy. The storage box comes with an attached lid that has the Spode Christmas Tree pattern's story imprinted on the inside. If you're giving a gift, the carton makes an excellent presentation. The handles are made of ceramic and should only be washed by hand. The forks don't have a Christmas Tree decal on the back side; they're just plain. The forks are held in place with elastic and can be neatly removed and returned to their original position without the use of twist ties or other adhesives.

It was lovely, but it arrived with a flaw

They had a lovely design and looked fantastic at Christmas Eve dinner, but one of the forks was completely bent. It was in a hard case, so it had to have been bent before it got to the package, not during transportation. We wouldn't have enough forks on Christmas Eve because of this. After speaking with Amazon, they sent us a replacement package, which miraculously arrived on Christmas Eve early afternoon, just in time for the party! br>br>Just be cautious and inspect the inside of the box as soon as possible!.

It's a lot bigger than it looks in the picture

I was a little let down. Every year, I add to my collection. The photograph exaggerates the strength and thickness of the "silver" part. They're also a lot bigger than standard serving utensils.
