I don't want the sauce to sit out where bugs and dirt can get into it. My problem was solved thanks to this handy basting pot. It stays in the fridge until I need it, then I put it next to the grill to use before returning it to the fridge! When it gets dirty, I throw it in the dishwasher and it's ready to use again. It can easily accommodate a large commercial bottle of sauce or a large batch of my own recipes.
I got this for Valentine's Day but haven't had a chance to fire it up yet (we're still in the dead of winter in Western New York). We did, however, put it in the dishwasher, and it appears to be well-made to withstand this method of cleaning. br>This is crucial for me because I despise cleaning tough meat by hand. br>Hope this helps!.
This item was a hit with my husband because he has a flat top! It performed admirably and was simple to clean.
It was great for bbq in general. Only 4 stars because the handle gets hot and the little black piece at the top falls off, but it worked well for us.
It's well-made and a good size, so I'd recommend it.
not a product of the United States of America There isn't a single negative thing that comes to mind. Everything is in working order. It would be better if it were made in the United States.
If I had it to do over, I would choose the stainless pot and brush set separately. br>br>I like that there's a brush hidden inside the pot's cover. br>br>It bothers me that when I put the cover down, the 'cap' fell off. It was undoubtedly not properly adhered. We'll see how long this goes on. br>br>.
