What's the best way to keep your heads clean?

After removing the head from the handle, I wash it in a bowl with soapy water. It's not difficult at all.

The handle is described as "natural." Is this referring to the color of the handle, or does it imply that the wood handle hasn't been treated or varnished?

There is no varnish, but it does have a sheen to it that makes it easy to clean, and you can feel the grain of the wood with your fingers. So I can't say for sure it's untreated; it could just be well sanded. In any case, I'm a big fan of that thing.
