This bowl is ideal for combining ingredients. It has a gleaming finish that is both attractive and practical. I have two of these bowls and they are my go-to bowls. Food preparation, mixing, and serving are all done in bowls.
If you enjoy a large bowl of cereal, this is the recipe for you. In that case, yes!
I just checked the bottom and it states that it is not microwave safe, but that it can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher.
It's not something I'd advise you to do. Because it's made of melamine, when you microwave it, the bowl itself heats up (and gets very hot) before the food inside. Microwaving is definitely not recommended!

I'm a big fan of meal preparation. Because I plan and cook from scratch, I have a lot of food scraps, wrappers, and other extra garbage that quickly accumulates on the counter unless I have this bowl or drag the trash can over to me. It's inconvenient to drag the can over to me because my Great Dane/German Shep mix has made it his personal life mission to recover everything I throw away while cooking (see photo of the culprit). It's also convenient to have the bowl nearby because my hands are frequently covered in things I don't want to drip all over my floors. br>br>I had an orange bowl that broke a year ago when my husband dropped it, so keep that in mind when you're handling it.
I've had it for a few weeks and I'm already using it in that manner. I'm always surprised at how much "garbage" I accumulate while preparing and cooking in the kitchen. Snacking or opening drinks are two activities that come to mind when I think of snacking When I'm not in the kitchen, I toss everything into the bowl, which I leave to sit in my second sink. Now I understand how my kitchen floor used to get so soiled and spotted from the sink and prep counter area, as a result of carrying all garbage to the trash can at the end of the kitchen. The bowl is also attractive, sturdy, and simple to clean. Others may prefer a wider range of colors, but I prefer the red.
I decided to order the same bowl because I liked the color and used it as a "garbage" bowl while preparing food. After about a week with the new bowl, another fracture appeared, this time from the rim to almost the bottom. The bowl had not been put in the dishwasher or anything, and it was just sitting on my counter. I'm guessing it's some kind of unusual stress fracture. I'm not sure why it did this; it's always been filled with vegetable peelings and egg shells, which I'd dump into my compost bin on a daily basis. That concludes our discussion. br>br>Other than that, the bowl was lovely and I enjoyed using it.
This is a Rachel Ray bowl, but it's being sold by a shady third party. I'm guessing they're not being stored properly, because when I used them for the first time, my hand mixer cracked and chipped this bowl. There is no customer service to help you fix this. This makes me angry.
I've had my blue one for about 8 years and it's never broken or given me any problems. I just received the burgundy one that I ordered recently. It appeals to me. I've put the one I already had to a variety of uses: It's also very attractive and can be used as a garbage bowl, a mixing bowl, to thaw frozen foods, to store fruit, and so on. Simply place on a counter or table for decoration. Except for the fact that it appears to be made of the type of plastic that would break beyond repair if dropped, I can't think of any cons for this item. This hasn't happened to me yet, but I've read reviews from others who have had this problem, so it's something to consider before purchasing.
After owning two, it's time to move on. Bowl is appealing. I like how the bottom is non-slip and the top lip is easy to grip. Unfortunately, each of the bowls I bought broke one after the other. I'm not talking about being completely broken; I'm talking about tapping against something. They will, hopefully, be made stronger in the future.
For several years, I've been using Rachel Ray garbage bowls in the sink; this is far superior to dumping too much trash down the garbage disposal. It's very useful when shelling shrimp, skinning chicken, cutting up fruit and vegetables, and so on. This is a great product, but the sink garbage bowl will need to be replaced after a few years because the bottom gets dirty and difficult to clean, but the new red bowl looks like it will be much easier to clean because it appears to be made of a different substance.
I accidentally broke my boyfriend's older Rachael Ray orange bowl and felt terrible, so I needed to find a similar one or a replacement. This bowl is identical to the previous one, but in a more appealing medium teal hue. When my boyfriend first saw it in the box, he was ecstatic! We use it to cut apples, collect food scraps for composting, prepare salads, soak foods, and so much more. It has a built-in non-slip white ring at the bottom and is the perfect size, as well as being extremely easy to clean with dish soap and water. I haven't tried it in the dishwasher because I usually do my dishes by hand. Thank you, Amazon, and Seller. Thank you, Rachael Ray, for coming up with these bowls. This is a must-have kitchen essential! br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> Allowing the bowl to fall could cause it to shatter. This is what happened to the older one, but aside from that, it's a home run and a fantastic gift to give to a loved one! I included two photos that were taken with a flash. Without the use of a flash, it is possible to see the color and size of the object.
