The Pioneer Woman Willow Cookbook Holder

Objects are broken. Mine came in two boxes with bubble wrap around the edges. The finished product is perfect! It's a statement piece in my aqua beachy/farmhouse kitchen because of the color. I think the size is ideal because it isn't too big and doesn't take up too much room. My purchase has made me extremely happy. As you can see, the back is made of durable acacia wood, which matches my counter tops. One of the primary reasons I purchased it was because of this. Wood is also used to construct the base. Overall, my purchase has exceeded my expectations.

Except for the fact that the stand completely disintegrated while I was removing it from its original packaging. I tried putting it back together myself by screwing the screws back in place, and it worked for a while. After 2 seconds, it crumbled once more. Very dissatisfied. I'll be back on the spot.

Any of my larger/thicker cookbooks will not fit in it. And, despite being well-wrapped, it came with a large gauge in the wood and the base detached, requiring me to epoxy it back on myself if I wanted to keep it. The quality is poor, and the size is far too small.

The item is lovely in and of itself. When I have tea, I use it to store my poetry books. But I'm not going to use it for that because it arrived broken. The item is made of a solid piece of wood. There are a lot of pioneer woman pieces in my collection, and they're all well-made. The base of the stand, where it meets the holder, is broken, and a wood chunk floats around with the screw, rendering it useless. Because the item was not wrapped in bubble wrap, I believe it to be a packaging issue. It was in a Styrofoam box, but there was too much space inside for the item to bounce around, so it needed to be wrapped to keep it from shifting. Because I really like the item, I'm hoping for a replacement.

It was 3 weeks late and broken when it arrived. It was unusable in the state I received it in. Because I was homebound during the pandemic, I was unable to return it. I attempted to hold it together with superglue. The photo was taken after the piece had been held in place with super glue. The glue isn't going to last long, in my opinion.

The item was damaged when it arrived in the box. Because of the way the original packaging was wrapped around the book holder part and the fact that the base was off by itself, it appears that it was shipped broken to begin with. I'm waiting for return or replacement instructions, and I'll update the review if the situation is resolved satisfactorily.

She is a huge fan of the Pioneer Woman show as well as the products she sells. I had been warned that the shipment would be delayed, so I was overjoyed when it arrived on her birthday! The piece is lovely, and she adores it! It isn't quite as big or sturdy as I had hoped, but since her husband and two small children won't be using it, it should suffice.
