I was able to return. The following are the reasons. I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it almost immediately. Because the metal makes too much noise and appears to be too tall, I returned it and chose this one instead. It is something I strongly suggest. It's a lot more convenient, takes up less space, and doesn't attract finger prints as much as this one's super shiny black finish does. This book holder is ideal for keeping track of your notes. I work as a professor at a university. As a result, I'm always scribbling notes in big books. Normally, I use a Bookmark/Weight-Sensitive-Sensitive-Sens Superior Essentials' Page Holder (available on Amazon) allows me to type while keeping a book open flat on my desk. This is a great alternative because it keeps books upright and eliminates the need for me to constantly move the book weight. The construction is solid and the finish is flawless, despite its light weight. This is an excellent purchase for anyone who requires a reference book that can be kept open.
