I've had a Panasonic 4 litre for ten years and it's still working fine without a stick, but it's time to upgrade. br>So, I can tell you that the 4 litre Zojirushi with the stainless tank, for example, makes tea taste much better. br>I would recommend it, even if it is a little pricey; we had to pay the piper because it was not available on Amazon in Canada. ca. br>I have no regrets. Cheers!

Although this is my first review, I feel compelled to caution others! After a few months of use, rust will appear. When I called Zojirushi customer service, they basically told me to clean with baking soda or citric acid. I attempted to clean it but was unsuccessful. They offered to look at it, but it would be an out-of-pocket expense, so I instead returned it to Amazon customer service. Avoid this cheaply made product, as the insulation is inferior to that of my previous Zojirushi water boiler, which I had for years.
Because the first one had a rust problem, I figured a stainless steel one would be less likely to rust. br>br>I am now left with a unit that has a rust spot that I can't get rid of after two years of use and using filtered water and cleaning the unit religiously. Also, when I removed three screws from the top lid, I discovered a lot more rust and lime scale that I can't get rid of. I'm giving up. br>br> There will be no zojirushi in the future.
Great! The interior is finished in stainless steel, which I find appealing. This brand's previous model lasted over 17 years for us. The nonstick interior was starting to show signs of wear and tear. It was a huge success. This has always been done with filtered water to prevent rust. I wanted to go with stainless steel for the interior.
My daughter received my old Zojirushi boiler, which was made in Japan. I decided to replace my old Zojirushi boiler with a new one. Even though it said "made in China," the stainless steel inner caught my eye. I placed my order right away and will return it once I've tried it out. The following are the reasons:br>1. When hot water is dispensed from the spout, it makes a loud noise. br>2. When you touch the outside of the boiler after the water has reached a high temperature, it becomes extremely hot. br>3. The materials appear to be of low quality.
Everything is the absolute worst thing that can happen to a person. In the so-called rust-resistant capsule, a white, odorous film formed with some strange particles in the water, similar to who knows what. I didn't drink anything but bottled water, so I'm not sure what it was. br>br>I was in a panic - I attempted to scale it and removed the filter in the process, but I misplaced it, so I went to the manufacturer to purchase the tiny filter, which came in two parts: Cancer-causing chemicals in the filter and the lid. I want my money back, and Amazon should not sell this product without providing a public warning.
Because the model is allegedly made in Japan, I paid a higher price than other models and brands. It's made in China, so it's a bit pricey. br>br>Advice for all such units is to use filtered water if you have hard water to avoid mineral buildup that is difficult to remove. br>br>The temperature control options appeal to me. Previous models lasted for many years. br>br> I'll see what happens with this one.
Those of you who purchased the Non-Profit version of the Non-Profit version of the Non-Profit version of the Non To read the chemical warning on the box, use the stick version (thank you, California)! I will say that the use of Teflon in all of the newer models is disappointing. Please keep an eye out for the film Dark Water!.
This is something I use on a daily basis. This is the third Zojirushi water heater I've bought in the last ten years, and it's my favorite because of the stainless steel tank; the previous models aren't dead; they're just serving in other places, and we needed another as our family grew. This machine is one of my favorites because it is simple to operate, clean, and has a beautiful design. It's great to have plenty of hot water for meetings, and it's even better to have it at the perfect temperature for tea.
