Selected User Reviews For Presto 02142 Precise 6-Quart Multi-use Programmable Plus Electric Pressure Cooker, 6qt, Black Stainless Steel
I used to have a "Power Cooker," which is essentially an Instant Pot. It worked well for a few years before failing to generate a steady stream of revenue. br>br>Up to this point, the Presto pressure cooker has performed admirably. I've done four roasts so far with no problems, and it appears that the pressure sensor is located near the green locking handle. On the Power Cooker or Instant Pot, I've never been able to locate the pressure sensor. The only minor flaw is a plastic lip that separates the cooking pot from the case. Liquids can spill in this small space, and you may need to clean it out with a paper towel and a thin fork or spoon handle for a few minutes. br>br>I did some research on Amazon and found a few of these pressure cookers. There are many positive reviews for pressure cookers, but I always read the negative ones. Several of them share the same problem: they stop working after 6 to 8 months because the cooker has stopped producing steam. While cooking, one of the Instant Pots caught fire, and a German-made model blew the lid off. br>br>The Presto has received positive feedback, as has the previous model.
I was debating whether or not to use a pressure cooker or a steamer. I bought this because it was on sale at Amazon Warehouse, and I'm glad I did. I simply added a cup of rice and 12 ounces of water to the pot. I glanced through the instructions, and the rice was perfect 20 minutes later. I also need to do a lot of testing. This machine appears to be well-made and should last a long time. br>You will receive a vegetable rack. Also, the instructions state that at least 8 ounces of water must be used. You need to raise it, so I took an old ring I had lying around and put it on top of it so it wouldn't sink.
I was able to get my money back! Thx. I received a refund despite the fact that it had been more than three months since I received my electric pressure canner. After three months, it stopped working, but due to the holidays, I didn't have time to contact Amazon until a few weeks later. A refund was issued to me right away.
My grandmother had one, and I had one as well. This is my first electric, and it's very easy to use. Just follow the instructions and keep the plate in the bottom.
It's as if the steam removes all of the seasoning.
It's simple to use, but it rips easily where it's supposed to, and mine only lasted two years, as opposed to another that I've had for four years and is still brand new.
There is nothing missing, and everything is in excellent condition. Purchasing items from a warehouse has always been advantageous.
So far, I'm enjoying everything about it.
