THERE'S A NEW KID ON THE BLOCK! Update 2
5/5

This was "as new" when I purchased it. The greatest investment I've ever made! I own both pressure cookers and air fryers, but this hybrid is a great option for someone who is new to both. It's simple to use and has a lot of functionality. It's a big unit, so I put it on a cart that also serves as a cooking surface and storage for the accessories because I don't have much counter space. The 6. 5 quarts is the ideal size for both singles and families. br>02/16/19 Update: I'm still experimenting with new recipes. I've tried everything except the dehydrator. You can also braise in this unit, which is a bonus that you won't be able to do on a computer. My only gripe right now is that I can't get extras because they're backordered and brand-specific, meaning that other PC parts won't work. I'm currently on the lookout for a travel bag that will allow me to transport my children when I visit them! br>Update No. 2br>2. HSN sold a black version of the second unit (there were four colors to choose from). Modes that you prefer. Broiling and braising are two techniques that can be used to prepare food. It's simple to clean. br> No need to disassemble the lid; simply boil 2 cups of water and 1 cup of vinegar in a saute pan, then hang the diffuser over the edge and close the main lid. When the pot is cool enough to handle, wipe the spokes of the lid with a paper towel to remove any residue. Clean the pressure cooker lid, particularly the sealing ring, with soap and water.

In depth You are encouraged to read! That's how good it is! Ninja Foodi has taken the world by storm! Gift for Mother's Day in 2019
5/5

We've made the following changes as of this review: 1x only for me; roasted brussel sprouts, potato chips My 14-year-old son made them for the second time), a whole roasted chicken, frozen ahi tuna, and french fries (1x me supervising/teaching my 12-year-old son - However, I was only "handing off," and the second time he did it on his own! ), chicken soup, and a rack of baby back ribs are all on the menu! EVERYTHING has gone off without a hitch! There is, after all, a learning curve! I didn't strictly adhere to the cheat sheet provided, and I did some recipe research (Google/YouTube - Ensure that "Ninja Foodi" is included in your search, or make adjustments/be cautious if the instructions call for a different cooker). Re: Poor results have gotten some negative feedback: I believe it is due to a lack of research or on-the-fly checks. In terms of french fries, Three sneak peaks/stirrings were included in every perfect batch (hint! ) They came out looking like the potato "stix" you get in a can with just one stir (but they were still delicious!). br>Seriously, I'm looking forward to making more! I'm looking forward to making yogurt, and I've requested a dehydrator rack for making jerky for my birthday. Our four-person family found it to be the ideal size. Batches are required when making potato chips and french fries: The basket isn't very wide. br>This is the "ideal" size for a slow cooker. "br>Noise: about the same as our microwave; pressure cooking is a little noisy, but I'm new to it. br>Smell (as reported by others): We only used it once (or was it because I made brussel sprouts, which I hadn't done in years? The house, for the most part, smells like the wonder of our creation. Cleaning: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> very simple (& This is huge for me because I despise cleaning. )br>Sneak-Peek-Peek-Peek-Peek-Peek-Peek-P The peek function is fantastic for checking and shaking the basket. Keep this in mind: It's very hot in the basket/pot! br>The unit is quite large, and it is quite heavy! It has its own spot in our kitchen. Initially, I planned to purchase an air fryer. I looked into almost all of the options available. Because of its versatility, I'm overjoyed with the Foodi. br>I highly recommend the Ninja Foodi if you're looking for a single device that can replace a number of others, if you want to simplify cooking, or if you want to cook with healthy air. If you want to present awesomeness for meals and if you want your kids to jump in and offer to make something, fried foods are the way to go! 5 stars aren't enough for me. I just hope it lasts because I'd hate to be without it! br>Update on 11/19: It's still my favorite! The most incredible device ever invented! br>Since the initial review, I've created the following: yoghurt (infinite batches - In a pot, HEAVEN! ), steaks (yes, my grilling skills are on par with my husband's! ), and more. ), 1/3 of a Costco-purchased pork chop a large (giant) pork loin, air-dried Fried chicken, burger sliders, steamed rice, and lasagna are just a few of the dishes on the menu. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Pot dinners, baked potatoes, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something else. Most of the time: Steaks, ribs, pork, and chicken are just a few of the foods available. Soon, I'll attempt to bake a cake or brownies! br>There are three crucial aspects of broiling:
1. PREHEAT the Foodi (with the rack in it) for 3 minutesbr>2. Before cooking, allow meat to come to room temperature. br>3 For pork or fish, follow these instructions: Before cooking, pat dry. br>br>My husband is wondering if I'll ask for a second one to make ribs/burgers/steaks in one and french fries/roasted vegetables in the other. br>The kids even demanded that we take it on one of our vacations (which we did!). I, for one, do not want to be without it!.

So many things are impossible to fit into such a small space
3/5

I adore the fact that it can be used for almost anything. However, due to the small size, it is difficult to prepare a substantial family meal, especially when inserts are used. In addition, it costs 4 to 6 times as much as any of the single appliances it replaces, and at least twice as much as all of them combined. It's also a LOT of weight. On the other hand, it is extremely well-made and performs admirably.

We can't use it because it stinks so bad
3/5

All in all, my wife and I unpacked the unit, and she rinsed and washed the POT and the Air fryer basket, as is customary. She used regular hot tap water and dish soap to make the dish. br>Immediately after submerging both the pot and the basket in hot water, they both emitted a strong odor that I can't quite describe but was not pleasant in the least. br>We've since run them through a few dishwasher cycles. The stench isn't going away. My wife refuses to use it in the kitchen because the food will absorb the foul odor. br>br>Is this a problem for anyone else? If so, how did you get rid of the odor? br>br>As of today. . . three months after purchase, it is still on the shelf unused. br>br>On Amazon, the support site directs you to Shark, and they only support the vacuum cleaners on that site.

For the most part, it hasn't proven to be a time saver
4/5

My rice hasn't finished cooking yet. I made teriyaki chicken with broccoli and rice. with the help of the recipe book and instructions that came with it It took more than an hour (I used brown rice) when all was said and done. I could have made it just as quick, if not faster, on the stove by cooking in stages and letting the pressure cooker "naturally" release. br>Frying tater tots in the air is incredible. Even so, 15 minutes is required. They take 20 minutes to cook, but they're crispy when they're done.

Ninja OP302 Foodi Cooker Ninja OP302 Foodi Cooker Ninja OP302 Foodi Cooker Nin I've been very impressed with this pressure cooker steamer air fryer because it does all of that and more, it's easy to use, extremely easy to clean, and it's a very impressive utensil
5/5

The biggest drawback that I have with the one that we purchased is that it's bulky and you need to be able to set it somewhere to cook with it because it has a permanently attached lid as well as a removable pressure cooker lid, there are plenty of videos on YouTube showing how to law. I forgot to mention that it is also a slow cooker, so you can basically pressure cook your food in it. You can sear your food right in the pan, it has a setting for that, you can bake in it, you can take frozen fish sticks and cook them straight in the air fryer, frozen French fries are the same and actually come out better than in the oven, you can steam in it, and as I mentioned earlier, I am extremely impressed with this utensil.
