Questions & Answers

I'm a regular user of the instant pot; is this one comparable?

We have a Mealthy Multipot as well as an Instant Pot. Any member of my family who is asked to get the pressure cooker returns with the Mealthy. It has a sleek appearance. It shares many of the same characteristics as the original. A second silicone ring is included. The Mealthy is a favorite of ours. It works better, according to my husband. I can't prove it, but I can tell you that our Mealthy produces more meals than the Instant Pot. It's just as good, if not better, in terms of cooking, style, utility, and cost.

What parts of the dishwasher can be cleaned?

To be honest, I'd rather hand wash all of the pieces of my stainless steel inner pot, as well as all of the other parts. Because the heat in the dish washer can damage the silicone gasket over time, I prefer to wash it by hand and air dry it. In addition, I believe that putting stainless steel still in the dishwasher causes it to discolor or become dull. Yes, I have a dishwasher, but I prefer to wash these items by hand.

Where can I get the necessary accessories?

Amazon now has a selection of tasty MultiPot accessories. In addition, it appears that the majority of inside-the-box thinkers are Pot accessories that fit other similar pressure cookers will fit in the MultiPot as well. For my MultiPot, for example, I desired a large steam basked. After doing some research, I discovered the Hatrigo Instant Pot Accessories 6 qt Steamer Basket for InstaPot Pressure Cookers on Amazon. It's a fantastic steam basket with a rating of four out of five stars. In total, 1,240 people have given this product an 8 out of 10 rating. In my MultiPot, this steam basket is ideal. I couldn't be more pleased with it, and it meets all of my requirements. Look for other accessories that might be suitable for your requirements.

Is it possible to sterilize (steam) canning jars in the pot before filling them?

The steam cycle can be used to sterilize mason jars. Place the trivet/steam rack in your MultiPot steel pot, add 1 1/2 cups of water, and add the jars on top of the trivet/steam rack. Select Steam on High Pressure for 1 minute with the steam vent handle set to Sealing. br>Keep in mind that the MultiPot isn't meant to be used for pressure canning. When preserving low-acid foods, always use a stovetop pressure canner. Because electric pressure cookers are not approved or rated for canning food, acid foods should be avoided.

Selected User Reviews For Mealthy MultiPot 9-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker 6 Quarts with Stainless Steel Pot, Steamer Basket, instant access to recipe app. Pressure cook, slow cook, sauté, rice cooker, yogurt, steam

So happy! I've been using pressure cookers for more than 15 years - Initially, a stovetop was used, and now an electric stovetop is being used
5/5

I was considering InstantPot because they've taken over the internet and are well-known, but I ended up choosing this one instead. Since I'm a new reviewer, I figured I'd give you some background on pressure cooking, why I chose this model, and why I'm glad I did. 1. br>br> Countdown screen - This is why I chose the Mealthy MultiPot over all of the other pressure cookers on the market. br> Pressure cooking can save you a lot of time, but it can take up to 15 minutes for the pot to heat up. It takes 20 minutes to reach peak pressure. Most pressure cookers don't tell you how far along in the cooking process you are until the final BEEP that your food is done. The MultiPot has a timer that allows you to keep track of your progress - Very useful for mealtime planning, as it can be used to preheat, cook, and so on. br>The pressure button actually pops UP, above the pot, allowing you to change the pressure level on all presets (some types of Poultry require high pressure, while others require low pressure; it's important to be able to choose). When under pressure, other models sit flush with the lid, and when not, they sit below it - As a result, you'll never be able to see it from across the kitchen. I enjoy watching my pot come to pressure and begin cooking from the comfort of my couch. br>The Keep Warm button on this model can be turned off at any time during the cooking process. br>Keep Warm is a very low, constant heat on this model. When I've left Keep Warm on on other models, the food has burned. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br br>Sizingbr>6 quarts is the ideal size for two people. 6 people. It calls for at least 1 cup of liquid, which is easily achievable for a variety of serving sizes. br>If you're switching to a crockpot, 6 quarts is also the standard size. br>br>3. br>Accessoriesbr>The accessories that come with this pressure cooker are what I'm most excited about. According to my research, no other model on the market has as many features. This one has the following features:br>- Pot holders that are just the right size for removing the inner pot from the cookerbr>- A trivet (I use mine to lift vegetables out of the water to steam them, such as sweet potatoes or spaghetti squash)br>- A basket for steaming vegetables. This is a huge benefit because it allows you to cook two dishes at the same time - a huge time saver. One is submerged in the liquid below, while the other is suspended in the basket above.
- This cooker comes with a one-year warranty, which isn't really an accessory. This is a one-pager guide to pressure cooking that essentially teaches you how to cook anything you could possibly want to cook. I've been pressure cooking for a long time and can attest to the accuracy of the guide. I've taped it to the wall behind where my MultiPot now resides. br>br>I hope this has been of assistance. I enjoy pressure cooking and have conducted extensive research, so I'd like to share what I've learned.

Awesomeness in a Pot! Let me start by being completely open and honest
5/5

I've got a one-pot wonder on my hands. It's been a couple of years since I got it, and I'm really happy with it. I came across it by chance while looking for a second slow cooker and decided to give it a try before it became as popular as it is now. br>br>Fast forward to the present, and I've decided that I need another pressure cooker because I use the other one so much, and I want to be able to cook TWO things at the same time! A friend recommended this pot to me, and I decided to buy it. br>br>THIS POT MAKES ME VERY HAPPY. Who is this Instant Pot guy? This is the one that I use. Now it's time to put the kettle on. Even my HUSBAND has tried it and hasn't messed it up! Because of the following reasons: 1. br>br> This pot is a lot easier to use than the previous one. friendly. The display indicates when it is preheating, which is useful for people who are worried their appliances aren't working, and it also provided my inexperienced husband with the information he needed to avoid calling me screaming that my pot wasn't working. (Yes, this has happened in the past. ) 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br In my opinion, the buttons on this pot are SO MUCH BETTER LAYOUTED and user friendly. They have buttons for a variety of things, all of which are clearly labeled. Instead of guessing which buttons to press to get to a specific setting, "Pressure Cook" instead of "Manual" and "Pressure Level" are both fantastic to see. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. The Instant Pot takes longer to heat up than this pot. I did a side-by-side comparison of the two. That's how nerdy I am. 4. br>br> The steamer is a feature that allows you to cook your food faster. Is there really anything else I can say? I DO A LOT OF SEAMING AND SEAMING, SO THIS IS PERFECT. 5. br>br> Finally, I'd like to comment on how sleek the design is. I like the darker color of the unit and the blueish hues on the display screen rather than the red. The color is similar to pewter. I didn't find this to be a deal breaker, but I thought I'd mention it. br>br>Multiple spaghetti squashes, beef and broccoli, multiple hard boiled egg batches, and tacos were all made in this pot. br>br>Purchase this pot as a favor to yourself.
