Questions & Answers
This almost cleaned itself! It may sound cliche, but it's true. One of the best nonstick surfaces I've ever encountered. Take a chance!
The number 131 is considered to be the most auspicious of all. I cooked a turkey breast at 131 degrees for 4 hours after injecting it with a spicy butter garlic mix for 24 hours, and I do the same with my steaks and chicken. That is the magic number for at least 4 hours, but 24 hours for turkey and pork. I filled the bag with oil for the turkey breast so the temperature would distribute evenly in the bag. So long as you remove all of the air.
Depending on what you're cooking, I've cooked a nice batch of chicken thighs in under 2 hours that were tender and fell off the bone. In the meantime, I added some mini potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and carrots to the top, but because the liquid didn't cover everything, I had to remove the chicken and cook the vegetables for another 30 minutes. It all came out beautifully! I added more water to the leftover chicken stock and seasoning (should have added more salt) and 2 cups of rice, which cooked to perfection. In 2 minutes, you can make a complete meal. 5 hours, 3 hours if you do it in waves like I did. It goes without saying that if you want good things, you should expect to wait a little longer. This product is highly recommended; give it a try and you'll see why.
I have a Nesco Roaster if that helps at all. It has a light-weight inner pot. Coated in ceramic. It is cooked. Some of the best pork, beef, and poultry are prepared by him. I'm currently researching the latest Instant Pot models. This aura appeals to me. I'm interested in the Gem as well, but I'd like to know how much of a pound these can hold. The only reason I'm considering replacing the Nesco with an IP roaster is to have more control over the temperature. Nesco's knob has a lot of 'play' in the turn. I'd like to be able to set the temperature of my roast more precisely.

However, there are some risks. Overall, this is a fantastic product; however, I wish it displayed the precise degree in Fahrenheit at which it is cooking at all times. It's perplexing to press HI or LOW and have no idea what those buttons mean. br>You can mess up your recipe if the temperature is above a certain point, and you can mess up your cooking if the temperature is below a certain point. So why not allow the user to see what's going on? Transparency is the word for it. It's known as quality control in the kitchen. Most cooks benefit from knowing where they are in the cooking cycle and what temperature their food is at. br>This is a tragic engineering blunder. When the temperature is incorrect - br>br>this becomes even more dangerous. For an extended period of time, the price has been too low - can actually provide the ideal conditions for bacteria cultivation. This came as a shock to me when I discovered it on my own. br>br>I was preparing a menu that required SLOW cooking. I set the temperature to 175 degrees and the SLOW cook time to 3 hours. br>However, after 2 hours of cooking, I noticed there was still no simmering. So I inserted the thermometer into the stew, and after two hours, the SLOW cook cycle had only reached 107°F! Consider it. br>br>Think about it. The user expects a 3 hour SLOW cycle, but there is no cooking for 2 hours. 1 Worse, the slight temperature rise from room temperature to 107 degrees has created an ideal environment for bacteria to grow quickly. This is a significant issue in terms of consumer protection. This method does not allow for a safe SLOW cook. Food, including SLOW cooked food, should always be brought into a safe zone as soon as possible. Before the SLOW cook stabilizes, the temperature should have reached 135 to 145 degrees – or even safer, 165 degrees. Do not be fooled by INSTANT POT's interpretation of the term SLOW COOK. They imply that for the majority of the SLOW cooking cycle, there will be NO COOKING. In fact, for the majority of the cooking cycle, they mean a hazardous environment for promoting rapid bacterial growth. br>On this matter, I contacted their technical support. Their technical support staff had never heard of such a food safety requirement before! SLOW cook, according to their technical support team, simply means slow cook. br>There are far too many engineers on the payroll. There aren't enough cooks. They said they'd talk to the right people about it and get back to me. I have not received a response from them.
The slow-cooker feature isn't working. Even on High, it takes a long time to warm up. It was on two separate occasions that I had to transfer the contents into my old-fashioned computer. a crockpot that is old fashioned I'm extremely disappointed!.
1
Cooked to perfection, evenly distributed, and at the correct temperature!
2. There was no such thing as a non-smoker in the house. adhere to the surface! I didn't want to worry about which utensils I could or couldn't use, or any special cleaning instructions, aside from the health concerns.
3. Either had a seering/browning function or could be used on the stove. TOO SAFE (THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR THE STOVE TOP). br>I'm pleased to report that this product meets all of the criteria! It's been about a half-hour since I've used it. Our meals have turned out perfectly a dozen times! I would absolutely recommend this product and would purchase it again!.
I received this unit today to use for sous vide cooking, and I cooked 2 chicken breasts at 146°F for 4 hours, checking the actual water temperature against the set temperature with an instant read thermometer to ensure it was always within 1°F. For a multi-player game, this isn't too shabby. cooker. I'm also going to use the other features.

I'm not sure why people are complaining that this isn't a pressure cooker or even an Instant Pot! Its functions are clearly stated in the description if you READ it! And there's a brand name for it: Instant Pot. They produce a variety of products, including the well-known pressure cooker. READERS, READERS, READERS, READERS, READERS, READERS Yes, I adore this Instant Pot multi cooker just as much as I adore my Instant Pot pressure cooker.
We've had a lot of success with their pressure cookers (4, 6, and 8 qt) and were looking for a good multi-cooker. for our slow-cooker needs to cook This is a sous vide option that neither the All-Inclusive nor the All-Outclusive offers Neither Clad nor the Cuisinart had done so. We have two sous vide immersion devices that work well but aren't meant to be used for long periods of time, such as 24 hours. Due to evaporation (you must cover the pot with foil), hour (or more) jobs are required. I made a few extras for myself. the- top ribs, and the water level did not drop throughout the 24-hour period. a 24-hour period I would strongly suggest it.
