Questions & Answers
Greetings, I would say no, the trace that comes with it is designed for sausages and sausages only, the cooking times are built into the unit, and they are also designed for smaller meats such as sausages. If you want to cook hamburgers, I would recommend a George Foreman grill. I hope this information is useful and that you have a wonderful day.
Our method has proven to be effective, and the sausages are brown and cooked to perfection. We primarily use it to make Italian sausage and bratwurst, and we've been very pleased with the results. We occasionally use it for breakfast sausage, but it doesn't brown them as well as the larger sausages.
According to my kitchen scale, the unit weighs 6lb 12 oz with one set of cooking plates installed.
Both plates begin to heat up. There's no need to turn; it's fantastic.

Today I tried out the Johnsonville Sausage Grill that I had ordered - it was delicious! My Bratwursts were cooked perfectly. Clean- It was simple to get to the top. The only suggestion I have is that the temperature probe should be mentioned in the manual or instructions. The bottom and top grill plates are shown in the manual, but they don't appear to be very different, and there's no mention of a temperature probe beneath the bottom plate. If you don't realize this and try to install the bottom grill plate on the top, it won't fit because of the temperature probe, and if you don't realize it's a temperature probe that should go on the bottom, you might think it's a "casting" flaw and the plate is defective.
I used to stand over my stove, turning each sausage one by one and turning the burner up and down in an attempt to get them cooked. Now I grill them, and they are perfect and juicy without being dried out in 10 minutes or less. My grill has made my life so much easier.
I know I bought a "new" grill, but when it arrived today, I opened the inside package lid and noticed that it appeared to have been opened previously and stuffed back into the box. Then I noticed some grease on the outside lip when I removed it. It wasn't much, but it was enough to pique my interest. I have not yet used it, but if anything goes wrong, it will be returned to Amazon. If it was previously returned and then sent to me, which I cannot prove, I believe this is a truly despicable act. I'm hoping I'm mistaken and it actually works.
The brats were cooked to perfection. When I first used it, I followed the directions exactly. It was very simple to clean and operate. I'm going to get one for my son and daughter. law. It's great that it has a drip pan so you don't have to deal with a lot of grease on the brat.
So we decided to try it. What good is it if you have to convert everything into it? Brats were made, and they had to be thrown twice before they were finished. Even then, they were no substitute for grilling or pan cooking. We're simply returning the package. We didn't think it was worth it. We consume a great deal of bratwurst, sausage links, and patties. The images are clickable links that must be inserted twice and rotated!.
Goof-proof for all types of sausage, bratwursts, and breakfast sausages (and patties) All of the work is carried out by the machine. It has been updated to sense temperature through the grill plates rather than the older version, which used a small spear to poke the middle sausage to determine the cooking temperature.
This is a fantastic little gadget for preparing a variety of sausages. So far, I've cooked large links, small links, and small patties of all three types of sausage. It doesn't get any easier than this, in my opinion. Simply fill it up, close the lid, and let it work its magic. Johnsonville should add the plates so that kielbasa and possibly hamburgers can be cooked on them.
Well, I find this grill to be very good and useful; brats have always been a problem for me to cook on the stovetop; in a pan, they just don't seem to turn out well; however, this grill does an excellent job of cooking brats, patty sausages, and breakfast sausages; in fact, it cooks them perfectly and quickly. Except for grilling them, I haven't found anything that works as well. This is, in my opinion, one of the best products I've ever purchased. Anyone would benefit from it, in my opinion. It's worth noting that the Plus cooker is capable of cooking all three types of sausages. Also keep in mind that this only cooks sausages, not hamburgers or other items like a Foreman Grill. br>br>I hope this information is useful.
